Hi I am doing a night mission and using the AGM-65H. I find my target on the TGP and make SPI. I Slave all to SPI and see my MAV slew to the target. I make my MAV SOI and China Hat Forward Short to narrow the FOV. Now at this point I am pressing TMS UP Short again and again and again and the crosshairs just won't collapse on the target for a launch. What am I doing wrong? Thanks

Hi I'm currently using a 24" monitor, but thinking of upsizing to help me spot enemy pixels in the distance. Just as a matter of interest I was wondering what size of monitor everyone else plays on? Thanks

I still use the Slew to Slew, but the button in the middle is clickable and I haven't found any function for it in the sim yet. It's certainly easier to click that than the button you suggest which as you rightly say is redundant anyway.

Hi I am using the TM HOTAS and using the slew button as my snap view to HUD in the A-10. Is there any way to change it to 1 click turns it on and 1 click turns it off rather than holding constantly? I have asked in the Input/output forum but got no reply. Thanks

Hi In cheat mode for Auto Start of the A-10C eventually the plane starts to roll forward albeit slowly despite my HOTAS throttle being in the idle position from the get go. The only way to stop this is to apply brakes during the process. Does my throttle need calibrated because its as if DCS doesn't recognise it's in idle, but like a few percent over it. Thanks

Hi A-10C Advanced mission 7 with Guns and Rockets. Do you have to destroy every single vehicle in every target group to pass? Killed over 30 in my first try last night and ran out of ammo on the final target. Landed and was told I had failed because I hadn't done this.

Hi When you have both missiles and guns loaded and you only want to use the gun how do you disable the missile? I have both the funnel and missile reticule on the HUD, but want the funnel only. If I disable the missiles in DSMS it disables A2A mode completely. Thanks

Hi Just did the Maple Flag Advanced Mission 6 and landed and was told once I shut down the bird I'd get my score, but nothing. How exactly do I move my campaign on to the next mission. I keep sending these to MF when I have had a bug, but don't want to keep bothering them. I know it's to do with changing stage on the logbook, but not sure which ones I change. So I have included my log. Can someone change to mission 7 and email to davemcqueen70@gmail.com please, but also tell me exactly what they changed for future reference? Thanks logbook.lua

Quick question. Did you go straight to WP7 looking for the convoy from WP6 or did you loiter? I loitered and keep going out the MAO. I wish I could see a clear border.

Hi When you manually select the Jamming Mode for SAM1 and SAM2 exactly which SAM's are specifically for each mode? Also are you jamming the tracking on you to get a launch and once the missile has launched then it's not really doing anything effective? Also on RWS what I the difference between Missile Detected and Missile Launched? Thanks again.

Hi. 1 thing I struggle with is how to react when the boom operator suddenly pulls that boom up as I get into position. On a personal note it bloody annoys me as I'm pretty much nose in line with boom end and some minor movements on his part would suffice. So this sudden uplift of boom is disconcerting. Sometimes when this happens and I assume it's because I am too low or too far forward, but the boom disappears above my head out of sight. So at the moment of him doing this, do I just hang in the same position and the boom should come to pretty much the same place in relation to my plane where it was before he yanked it up or do I do something else?

I'll try that. Does anyone have recommendations of where to hold gaze on the tanker? I've been trying to get the V Fins on the boom as my fixed point, but obviously this must be a mistake as everyone says follow the plane not the boom.

Yes I get the post AAR Checklist. This all happens as the tanker starts to turn. Apart from apart from closing the fuel door is there anything else I need to actually do? Thanks

Ok ready light off, but I still can't get the instructor to tell me to land or do anything.

In advanced campaign for the A-10C I have done the refuelling mission. I only got 2x10 second connects so have probably failed. However i can't get the mission to end. The instructor says that's the end of the AAR and I should try doing it at night and then nothing. I don't wanna go be below the hard deck limit as an automatic fail. The ready light is still on. but I've just watched a video of a guy doing the same mission and his was on too and the instructor gave him instructions. Not me?
