  1. Cool, that is music to my ears!
  2. Due to the constant crashing in 1.2.2, I was wondering if (before I go through the whole uninstall procedure) it is possible to install my old 1.2.1 files and just opt out of the update, it seems to be the only way I will be able to play this online (if my friends do the same) until they finally fix the CTD's Thanks in advance.
  3. I would sure like to know what kind of magic you are doing to get DCS to run a whole mission without crashing, I have reinstalled the game, repaired it, updated it twice (the two hotfixes) and still it crashes every time. I see no reason for this on my end, 1.2.1 worked flawlessly and if I could go back it it, I would in a heartbeat.
  4. We have had two updates since 1.2.2 and still it crashes in MP. I don't usually succumb to impatience, I try to be very understanding but after a week of not being able to use DCS products online (the only way I really use them) due to random crashes 100% of the time I attempt to play online, well, I am getting a bit concerned. I know it takes a long time to track down this stuff and fix it but you have many folks on this forum who can't get through a single online mission without a CTD, we have given you all the info we can (and dealt with some rather harsh treatment from ED team members) and now I feel that perhaps even just a quick update on the situation would go a long way. Don't take this the wrong way, I am not whining, I am not demanding anything, I just want to know that the products I own (and have had little trouble with before the recent update) will be usable soon and I can get back to having fun running missions with my buddies. I know you are working hard and I don't mean to pressure you, I just would like to have a rough estimate on the fix or something like that. Thanks for your time ED, I know you won't let us down and I expect to be a customer of you folks for a long time to come.
  5. I have a older motherboard without a automatic RAM overclocking function and I still get crashes, I also have decent specs but don't fly on max settings. I doubt that it is our computers that are at fault here, we have seen the online CTD issue spread across a wide user base, too wide to indicate user systems faults. This is something on ED's end, shame I can't even play it online (without a crash at a random time after 20 minutes) until a hotfix is released, starting to get a bit bitter about it.
  6. Even after the two hotfixes that have already been released (yesterday), I am still getting the same crash issues. Is anyone else?
  7. It is my understanding that you cannot use old control profiles from A-10C 1.1.1.1 or BS2 1.1.1.1 for DCS world, you will need to remake those (pain in the butt but not a huge deal), I also don't think your profile will shift over, I am not 100% sure about that one. I am sure about the controls settings though, I believe the dev's said something to that effect.
  8. That is the changelog for the first update that happened today, not the second.
  9. 1.2.2.7286 is the version number on my end.
  10. I ran the updater today for the second time (in idle hope that they have fixed the constant online crashing) and it seemed that there was a new one, am I right or did my updater just do the same one from early today for some reason? There is only one update listing on official forum thread about the updates so I am not sure.
  11. So they have still not fixed the crashing?
  12. I have a AMD machince (a 9950 BE X4) and it crashes every time.
  13. Here is my DXDiag text file, that contains all the system information that I can provide (I don't know much of it from memory so this was the best I could do). Hope it helps, I find it odd that it would be my systems fault considering that nothing like this happened until after I installed the latest update, not saying it is not possible but I find it unlikely. DxDiag.zip
  14. I have no idea, but it seems to be a common error.
  15. Still getting random CTD in every online mission. I posted the crash log in a couple of topics in the game crash subforum. I know I am not the only one experiencing this and it is pretty much a game breaker as you cannot count on finishing any missions online (I was able to finish one but it crashed as I was shutting down the plane, so it barely counts as a finish.) It seems to only happen to the clients on a server, not the host (at least in my experience), I will again post my crash log in hopes that it helps nail down this problem quickly. # -------------- 20121112-200802 -------------- # C0000005 ACCESS_VIOLATION at 4007CFAE 00:00000000 00000000 00000000 0000:00000000 4007CFAE 0012F350 0000:00000000 400140D4 0012F3C0 0000:00000000 400127BE 0012F520 0000:00000000 4000925E 0012F550 0000:00000000 EF238721 0012F5E0 0000:00000000 EF238BEA 0012F630 0000:00000000 400EF4D9 0012F6C0 0000:00000000 400F1DED 0012F720 0000:00000000 401099B4 0012F750 0000:00000000 401098A9 0012F7B0 0000:00000000 401908E8 0012F820 0000:00000000 40191D28 0012FD10 0000:00000000 4019471F 0012FDC0 0000:00000000 77B6F56D 0012FDF0 0001:0001E56D C:\Windows\system32\kernel32.dll BaseThreadInitThunk()+D 77673281 0012FE40 0001:00032281 C:\Windows\SYSTEM32\ntdll.dll RtlUserThreadStart()+21

  17. Here is the latest crash report from a mission I just ran after the most recent autoupdate (the one that happened today). # -------------- 20121112-200802 -------------- # C0000005 ACCESS_VIOLATION at 4007CFAE 00:00000000 00000000 00000000 0000:00000000 4007CFAE 0012F350 0000:00000000 400140D4 0012F3C0 0000:00000000 400127BE 0012F520 0000:00000000 4000925E 0012F550 0000:00000000 EF238721 0012F5E0 0000:00000000 EF238BEA 0012F630 0000:00000000 400EF4D9 0012F6C0 0000:00000000 400F1DED 0012F720 0000:00000000 401099B4 0012F750 0000:00000000 401098A9 0012F7B0 0000:00000000 401908E8 0012F820 0000:00000000 40191D28 0012FD10 0000:00000000 4019471F 0012FDC0 0000:00000000 77B6F56D 0012FDF0 0001:0001E56D C:\Windows\system32\kernel32.dll BaseThreadInitThunk()+D 77673281 0012FE40 0001:00032281 C:\Windows\SYSTEM32\ntdll.dll RtlUserThreadStart()+21 I have no idea what any of this means and I can post the four other crash reports if needed.
  18. Same here, this sim is broken in this state, I cannot play online with the knowledge that it is not a matter of if it will crash but when. This needs to be fixed ASAP, I really hope they have a hotfix in the works that will clear this up, it was working perfectly fine in 1.2.1.
  19. You don't need to be good at A-10C overnight, it is a great sim and worth putting a little bit of time here and there into it. You see, A-10C is more about the learning process than it is about playing a game, I have been playing for about a year now and there is still so much stuff to learn and I would not have it any other way. Give it some time, you don't need to devote hours upon hours a day, just learn one thing at a time and it will all come together. I would be more than happy to help you learn things more quickly, I enjoy teaching folks how to fly in the sim.
  20. Okay, I downloaded the update using the auto-updater, everything seemed to be working fine (aside from massive loading time increases for the Ka-50) until I started a mission online with a buddy (who also used the updater). After about 20 minutes on his server, my game (and only mine) crashed to desktop, it seemed odd so I asked a friend who said that he experienced something like it and just reinstalled from scratch. I uninstalled DCS World and reinstalled using the newest downloadable versions, my buddy did the same thing and we then tested the online stablitiy again, this time, it waited about 40 minutes and crashed to desktop, no warning, no nothing ,just a crash to desktop. I am about to test it again with a different mission but I imagine that I will get the same results, if so, it must be something wrong with the sim because it worked perfectly in the previous version.
  21. You are about 2 gigs short of the minimum spec on RAM, your graphics card will not be able to handle this sim at all. Both lock on and Falcon are much older and less demanding games.
  22. That is interesting, I had no idea. I would much rather a nice DCS version of the F-15C over the cardboard cockpit we have in FC3.
  23. Same here, they are going to need to throw us a bone soon because with the rise of 3rd party support, our dollars can only go so far and they need to give us something to look forward to. ED needs to strike while the iron is hot, waiting to long will mean that they have to deal with a market saturated by 3rd party offerings (and few of them look very promising).
  24. It was Sakhumi (sp?) if I remember correctly.
  25. Before the update, I was getting very low load times but after the update (and only for the Black Shark it seems) my loading times (both when I am waiting to get to the aircraft select screen and when I hit fly) have gone through the roof. I am not talking about a few extra seconds, it went from about fifteen seconds of loading screen and maybe five or ten after I hit fly to about 2 minutes on the loading screen and sometimes 2 and a half after I hit fly. This is getting absurd, it ran perfectly in that last version, why should this be any different?
