  3. nice work! please, do not forget a version for former eastern/warsaw block soviet cold war era airfields, there were no illuminated signs. i will try to provide pictures
  4. what we finally need is an airfield extension/assets/realistic ground lay out and environment pack or call it what you want - but especially for caucasus. the airfields over there are very "arcade" and have not very much to do with the reality (all of them are former soviet airforce bases) - except of the added 4 "new" which were no relicts from former lock on times. .
  5. you do an amazing job skinning the mig! could you please do some more, or at least, one soviet cold war era historical correct skin? the current one is not very realistic regarding the size and style of the red star and soviet fighters have no more than 2 digits tac numbers. only training regiment fighters use 3 digits! that would be great! thanks a lot in advance!

  7. könnte bitte jemand so nett sein und mal ein paar pics von der überarbeitenen Gudauta airbase einstellen?? 2 - 3 vogelperspektiven wären genial und evtl ein paar details. bin total neugierig, komme aber wegen auslandeinsatz erst wieder im märz zum vergnügen. . . DANKE!
  8. ok, thanks. my hope was for a new, more real layout regarding the entire airbase at gudauta (updated structures, taxiways, shelters, ammunition depot, pre flight line, staff buildings, tower, etc. . .)

  11. in my opinion, the latest set of pictures looking again a little better. the progress is visible. this is not far away from perfect. hope to see the next update soon.
  12. really? tell me the difference to dcs . . . with ground plates/ tarmac bigger than a fighter bomber? no infrastructure? all the same shelters and towers from lock on? ok, they received "new" textures. . . but we need soviet era/russian style ones. evey airbase should finally get its specific draw, onlays, buildings and infrastructure. . . ahh, i am using dcs on a daily base and own all modules, to make it clear. i am a first day fanboy beginning with the very first piece of the flanker-series. . .
  13. just updating the left over/relict airfields from lock on era would have a massive impact and will be a huge improvement! in comparison with upcoming maps and the 3 or 4 already redone/new airbases in caucasus, the remaining look more than outdated. . . please discuss it in the team. that would be great.

  15. i agree that we need finally a cold war playground and no ww2. . . this would be the most admired scenario for the absolutely biggest part of dcs users i guess. . .
  16. please, can some official say if the caucasus will also get an overhaul, e.g. airfields(!), trees, woods, more (detailed) types of houses and industrials, ground layers for towns and villages and so on?

  18. i am so happy to see you alive and not minor happy to see these amazing results!!! wow, in my opinion it seems to be perfect - what the hell are you looking for? ;-) maybe one little point: the ground floor color from the "woods" is maybe a little to dark from judging the pictures.

  20. ein witz, diese map. ressourcenverschwendung. ich verstehe den sinn nicht, den usnern und wohl auch ed hätte jede bezahl map mit historisch oder wenigstens landschaftlich wertvollen inhalt besser getan. cold war, balkan, baltic oder sonstwas. das ist für magnum fans, fehlt bloss der heli von ihm. bullshit, sorry. ich bin fan seit der geburtsstunde der flanker-serie, aber was soll das. . .
  21. as i said, wasting resources - why not put them in creating another payable map with background. and landscape. and environment. i am convinced that would be the better option, for us an for ED too.

ED, I am a fanboy since the first piece of the flanker series, but what a waste of ressources. . . sorry. . . no one needs that. never heard before that this island is ever existing in real world. . . why no area with historical background, e.g. cold war, balkans. . . i dont need a holiday map.
