  1. version: 1.5.5.60565 on the main menu. and this is what updater says is the most up to date version.

I am trying to install the plane and it shows up on the site that I have a key. but module manager isn't finding the new module. when I tell dcs updater to manually download and install it, i'm told it doesn't exist. help? all my other modules work fine. I can tell it to repair and it checks against server files.
  3. Or my personal CAP favorite, 2x3x2 :thumbup: not a bad idea either. for me thats going to depend on how much range I need

I was always a believer in the 2x2x2 package. 2 aim-54s for standoff work. 2 aim 7s for mid range.. and the 2 aim-9s and the cannon for the dogfights which this cat is surprisingly good at playing in for its size and weight. I plan to use this a fair bit myself and its a common real loadout. sure you dont have a huge number of missiles. but the weight savings will help your turning and less drag means better speed also improving range. seems well balanced and effective enough to me. though I think we all know there is no perfect tactic for everything. there will always be a counter. just look at what the current issue is on the battlefield and plan accordingly but the 2x2x2 is a good rounded patrol setup for me especially if you consider having a wingman
  5. 1. landing gear does not sync: for back seat gear is up when joining aircraft despite actual position in sim. even when joining at cold/dark. if takeoff is done and front seat raises gear, back seat gear comes down. 2. canopy position open/closed: does not sync at all. if back seat joins durring cold/dark, canopy for front will always appear open. 3. electrical power/system states: if back seat joins when aircraft is cold/dark, back seat will never get electrical power or radios etc. if front seat turns on battery, no power reaches back seat If back seat joins after start, he will never lose power. if front seat shuts down electrics after a flight the back seat still has power. 4. engine state: back seat joins cold/dark and engine never starts. if joins while engine running, doesnt shut down when shut down from front cockpit and front cockpit engine stays running when back seat shuts down engine. 5. RSBN: heading pointer does not come alive for back seat as if not receiving rsbn at all. azimuth accordance does not appear to function as front seat gets no indication "conform azimuth" 6. EGT IND switch does not turn off egt gauge when set to rear cockpit as it does in singleplayer. 7. RAT: if either seat extends the RAT, the other cannot see it or get power from it.
  6. thats actually a fair point. though I just assumed the station would remain active even when it isnt the active runway. due to weather conditions ie heavy fog/imc conditions, would need the PRMG. I dont think that gets taken into account when determining active runway as far as I know. if ILS is needed then that becomes active runway even if it means landing downwind within safety margins (here in the US) that did fix the issue.
  7. same here. the only time I get indications is on chan 40 but the vertical deviation bar never moves. only horizontal on the ILS. and its not that helpful due to the offset of the station. If I follow it it seems to be landing on the taxiway. also having the separate channels from the L-39and Mig-21 is REALLY confusing. shouldn't those be the same numbers since its the same system?
  8. isnt just when you eject. I was doing the grom mission, and once I used my missiles... I MAY have decided to try a gun run for all the good it would do... his mast caught me by the tail and started me flat spinning going forward at about 700kph. pilot blacked out, ended up landing in the water. was like this for about 3 minutes before I took the screenshot not my far main gear started to get pushed out of the wheel well. the gear door was still closed so it was a little strange. as the plane bobed up and down slowly, wheel would extend/retract a little
  9. the KA-50 and Mi-8 use the same engines. so wouldn't it make sense for the starter sound the Mi-8 uses be audible for the Ka-50 as well? is there a way to get the starter sound form the mi-8 to play when I try starting the Ka-50 engines? file is: EngineTV3117Start.wav

  11. ok. issue was I was using the wrong rearming window. though I still cant seem to repair the SU-25T... I landed with a blown tire and shut down completely.. called repair got 'copy' and no timer or anything. waited for 5 minutes and nothing.
  12. is there a way to repack it? it doesn't on rearm or repair. only way I can see to use it again is to start over.
  13. they were off. I did a full shutdown. even had the battery off at one attempt. still heard copy
  14. I park at a friendly airfield, rearm works fine. when I return and make a rough landing/have damage in any of the modules, I ask ground for repair. I get "copy" and nothing happens.
  15. I am looking for Interface cards for my pit that are relatively cheap, low hassle, and a good number of inputs for switches. If anyone has recommendations, please link if available. USB type preferred
  16. Im not sure if its possible but im trying to figure out if i can run one of the 2 and in multiplayer not have to switch programs to fly the other. like: if im in DCS a-10 i dont want to have to quit to switch to the KA-50 for multiplayer.
