  1. I'd really like to be able to fly EW missions with: EA-6B Prowler EA-6A Intruder F/A-18G Growler EF-111A Raven And if we ever see wide body multi-user aircraft in DCS: EC-130H Compass Call An-26REP I think a more advanced EM environment model would help to make SEAD missions more realistic even if the precise characteristics of the simulated EW equipment is partly guesswork.
  2. Q1) Will DCS World take full advantage of my 780Ti for AA and AF or might I see better visual effects forcing modes via Nvidia Inspector? Q2) Alternatively is DCS World optimised to work with the regular Nvidia driver control panel?
  3. Re carrier landing and simulation, I'm very new to naval aviation in flightsim so some of my questions may be a bit over the top, anyway saw this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lp0-TgQb3lI So I have some questions about carrier operations being simulated: Q1) What dynamical movement of the carrier is modeled i.e. pitch, role, heave (for pitching deck landings)? Q2) Is FLOLS simulated for true line stabilisation? Q3) Does the FLOLS simulation compensate for landing deck offset? Q4) Does the FLOLS simulation take into account eye to tailhook variations between different aircraft? Q5) Is the arresting cable modeled to any degree or is a successful trap predetermined geometrically? Q6) Will the simulation include fowl deck scenarios? Q7) Is there an LSO-like waveoff feature with flashing warning lights e.g. for significantly below glideslope close to the carrier? Q8 Will FLOLS system failures be modeled i.e. loss of tracking and waveoff? Q9) Will the FLOLS lights be placed at a realistic position on the carrier i.e. Fresnel lense depth of field effect modeled? Forgive me if this is not the right thread as I'm not certain to what extent the DCS World core code determines what carrier operations can be modeled.
  4. OK to put this another way, where do you folks prefer to install LOMACFC2?
  5. Hello everyone my first post here. I've purchased LOMAC and FC2, not installed yet, I wanted to verify recommended setup of hard disks. I'm coming from a MS Flight Simulator background and would appreciate answers to the following: Q1a) Will I see better performance when installing LOMAC and FC2 to a separate hard disk than Win7? Q1b) If the answer to 1a is Yes, then will I see better performance if I increase the format block size for the LOMACFC2 drive to 64KB (I do this for the drive that I run FSX from). I'm thinking of possible advantages for scenery loading.
