There is a fellow here with over 10,000 posts that uses the logitech extreme $30 with the buttons on the base as modifiers. I use the same stick with my saitek throttle that has 6 buttons as modifiers, works fine.

Thanks Andreas, yes that explains the Mav zoom. The dark MFCD seemed to be coming from the one mission I was flying and cleared up on anther, cheers.

Couple of questions Why is my screen so dark when I select "mav" When I lock onto a target using "mav" I hit V and then hit V again but when I try to zoom using the home and end keys nothing happens

This may not help but worth a shot, try repairing DCS. recently when I started in the air the plane would do a swift barrel roll on its own and repair fixed that.

Hi all I have just made a new hotas profile for my Logitech extreme. When I select the make HTML tab it takes me to this location C:\Users\bb\Saved Games\DCS\InputLayoutsTxt\A-10C Real In the past I was able to create a new HTML or printout of my joystick profile but now it wont let me Do I need microsoft word or excel to create HTML? that could be the problem

I agree, my P51 is in the hanger. If I bought the P51 purely excited by historic prop aircraft I would have walked by now. There is not even a campaign for it and is in la la land in multi player However the A10 keeps me in the game......... the P51 is a big dissapointment

I found this in another website, claims to activate click and view. im not near my sim so maybe some one can test it option is always available in the Scripts\Aircrafts\_Common\Cock*pit\clickable_common .lua just set use_click_and_pan_mode = true

thanks for the review. your right the A10c doesn't need a lot of throttle so the mouse could easy sit in the left hand and with a bit of practice would become second nature. I tried it and works bloody good! Also if in the heat of the moment if you need throttle then the hat switch on the stick can take over as its still active even when the mouse is enabled This is my solution because I cant run track Ir with my projector screen.

How do you use a mouse pointer when you really need it on a dog fight. Both hands are on stick and throttle then?

the A10c training vids are very good. The f15 is painful to watch and listen to.

those photos are 2 screens taken at the same time of course, one is just an instrument panel. I think its clear that way point 2 is no where near 170 deg of my nose, maybe just 5 or 10. EDIT REPAIR fixed it. Thank goodness for that was flying in reverse..

Yes its just started with the new update I believe. When I hit "v" I slew to another place miles away from my next way point! Will admin make a note of this for the next update?

After flying the PMGD 737 for nearly 2 years Im not that excited about the 777 the reason being it just looks like and basically is a stretched 737 with a drab brown cockpit. So if you own the 737 your getting extra mileage , longer legs. Now what I am looking forward to is the 747v2. There is just something special about the 747's 4 engines for a start

A tad confused here In the pic you can see on the MFD Im flying towards waypoint 2 (around 350deg) But on the hud though, way point 2 is showing at 170deg which is the reverse of my current heading Anybody comment on what Im missing here? Thanks

okay got the structure, was easy. Here is the cut n paste from address bar C:\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World\_MODS\Female Wingman\sounds\Speech\Sound\ENG\Common\Wingman\1 but, when I check properties on the desktop shortcut I get this "C:\JSGME\JSGME" but no "exe" on the end of it even though its only the exe in the C\JSGME folder I feel like the dunce of the class because I still cant get this thing to work

Thanks that worked :-) the only other part I dont get is this "Make a new folder called "Female Wingman" and within that recreate the EXACT structure of the folders..." how do I recreate a structure? cant get my head around this for some reason, maybe because its 3.30 am :sleep:
