That means your account doesn't know that it owns the Huey yet, which is weird. You have to be logged in with the account you bought it with.

In forward flight its the speed that is not letting you turn further, the helicopter is aerodynamically designed to keep a straight flightpath while at speed. If you use the rudder in a hover you should be able to spin as much as you like (until you get dizzy)

Create a mission with no wind at all and try again. Wind does make the tailrotor less effective in some positions.

Flew this yesterday, broke something on takeoff after picking the patient up, lost all controls and crashed into a bridge...

Do you have some details on those dampers? I don't have a Hornbach around here. And what kind of feel do the pedals have with the dampers on, do they still self center?

Did it a while ago to prepare for the Huey (tested in Take on Helicopters and DCS:Huey). It makes flying helicopters smoothly with the Warthog actually possible, with the big spring i always cramped my hand to keep it from centering on its own during hovers and had problems making small adjustments, this is now no problem. For fixed-wing however i'm not liking it at all, i'd rather have proper centering for that.

I actually find autorotation landings less stressful than normal ones :music_whistling: Its much less complicated than i expected when trying it for the first time.

Mein stick hat den , daher habe ich ihn komplett linear und mit 100% sättigung eingestellt, die deadzone im Kollektiv entfernt und die Pedale ebenfalls voll linear. 2. habe ich das Kollektiv invertiert (ziehen = hoch, drücken = runter) 3. den Trim Reset auf den Knopf oben rechts am Stick gelegt. Am ende ist es alles Geschmackssache und wie man das beste Gefühl hat, das Profil ist aber eine sehr gute Basis.

After trying about 20% curves on the stick and pedals i ended up with going fully linear, this just gave me the most control. Still far away from doing stable hovers and smooth maneuvers though. I did the spring mod to my Warthog, otherwise it'd be impossible to fly.

Startmenu -> Eagle Dynamics -> Update DCS World Edit: wow, few seconds too late *cough* Anyway, downloading at between 50 and 300kb/s. My 50mbit downstream is not impressed, but its patchday after all.

I have tried using my iMacs 27" screen (via external displayport input) for DCS before and didn't notice any performance difference to my usual 1680x1050. This was with a 4ghz i5 2500k, 8gb RAM and a HD6950 1gb In short, you shouldn't have any problems running DCS on it, other games might however need some lower settings.

Same But the circlejerk is starting to get slightly annoying, same thing in every F2P game though :noexpression:

The only benefit a soundcard will have for you is DDL, since it would deliver 5.1 via the digital out when playing games. (without DDL you should just get stereo) The sound quality will not change since the device that does the digital->analog conversion stays the same. I can't say if its worth it since i hate those 5/7.1 headsets with a burning passion, if you really want to try a Xonar DX for ~50€ (does DDL according to asus).
