  1. Yes. It will be recognized as a regular joystick and the handle pull will give three inputs in DCS, meaning it will eject you instantly.
  2. The buttons themselves are regular joystick inputs. It’s just the screen that requires BIOS.
  3. Well, it is as black as we could find, but it’s green-ish I suppose. It can show info from the Warthog CDU, but that’s it for this version. We are looking into how this can be achieved in the future, but I can not say when.
  4. Yes, that is true, but the majority is. The other option is an encoder. Those are for all turn knobs that does not have a "stop", like the HSI knob in every aircraft or the ABRIS-controls in the Shark.
  5. The F-16 Ejection Handle is now live! https://totalcontrols.eu/product/f-16-ejection-handle/
  6. If you join our Discord, I’ll help you there! Link in the footer of the homepage.
  7. If you already have DCS Bios installed, there is a good chance you miss the Apache part of the repository. Make sure you have the latest Bios version installed. Get back to me if that doesn’t resolve the issue. There is a profile ready made on the Total Controls support page. Check there!
  8. Here is a video on how to get DCS Bios working with the unit:
  9. One is from Total Controls and one is in an Apache. I must say we came pretty close. Thanks Ryan for the picture!
  10. Ah, you found it! There are a few more easter eggs in there.
  11. If you use Helios, be sure to export generic viewports. It will make the screen show whatever is on the current MFD, for all aircraft in DCS.
  12. There might be some Easter eggs implemented in the unit, but I can not say too much right now. To get the unit to show data in DCS you will just need to install DCS BIOS and connect the units COM Port. I have a video on the process on my YouTube channel.
  13. We are working with ED to make the KU pre-assigned in DCS. There are a lot of buttons to bind and this would make life much easier. Did you know that the KU can be used with any aircraft in DCS, making it a perfect fit with the A-10C and CH-47 as well.
  14. Yes, in time, probably before summer.
  15. Launch day! We have liftoff! https://totalcontrols.eu/product/apache-keyboard-unit/
  16. Days away. No April fools.
  17. Now it’s getting really close.
  18. I am a VR only guy, and this thing is great. I use it both for Apache and A-10 in every flight.
  19. I’d say about two weeks, if all goes well. We will run a preorder on it a few weeks before launch.
  20. Could you send an email to info@totalcontrols.eu and we'll see what we can do.
  21. Since it's square, i guess you could mount it that way.
  22. It is located on the bottom right corner.
  23. There you go. The unit is a tad bigger than the original piece. This is dure to the screen that we have chosen. We plan to go live by the end of February. Price will probably be 180$ excl VAT in Europe.
  24. No, but the unit will have 75x75 VESA holes in the back, so most VESA mounts will work.
  25. Fun review from Grim Reapers
