  3. So, general status update: Board design ready and PCB is under production. Shell design is ready and mold is in the making. Buttons are ready and delivered. User manual is under revision. Software design is ready as a first version. The unit will feature the following features: It is a HID unit and will be recognized as a regular gaming input unit. No DCS Bios required. 51 input buttons and 1 axis. Tactile markings on some of the buttons to make VR use easier. Separated backlight for buttons and screen. Adjustable backlight for buttons. Backlight for screen can be controlled via the brightness axis or set to fixed backlight. 40x2 character display that will require DCS Bios to work with DCS. It will be able to show PLT or CPG KU scratch pad info or both at the same time. The screen can also show CMS info. This can be turned off with a button combination. The unit will have 75x75 mm of VESA mounts on the back plate. The first version of the Apache KU will not have a custom programming software for windows. It will come pre-programmed and all functions will be controlled via button commands. It will only be able to show scratch pad info from the Apache, but the buttons will work for any module. Pre-orders will go live at latest this February. Price will be below 200€.
  4. I have seen many custom solutions. I figure a wooden board or a cut sheet metal part might do the trick. Also, check Monstertech. They have some mounting solutions.

  12. I was about to brush of some rust in the Huey the other day and launched the instant action mission Weapon range on Caucasus (Not sure about the name right now). The mission starts in thick fog. So thick that you can not see more than a few meters in front of you, making the mission irrelevant. You can not see any target, not even the range.

  15. This might actually have been the case. Now it works again. Edit: or not. This was the case in any module, and I just use modifiers in the Apache CPG seat. But anyhow, it works now.
  16. Latest OB here as well. Running the MT version in VR. Will try a repair to see if it fixes the issue.
  17. Previously, a button press on any controller would jump to the assigned function in the bindings settings. This was very helpful in troubleshooting any binding issues. This function is broken in my installation since last update. Anyone else experiencing this?
  18. Next product from Total Controls has been revealed: The Total Controls Eject Handle! It will fit every module with an ejection seat in DCS and BMS. It is plug and play and will give three pulses in one pull. Base will be slightly larger on production unit. It will be 40x130 mm. Designed to fit an aluminum T-profile 80x40 mm. Base height 85 mm. Total height about 300 mm. Handle is adjustable. Preorders will go live soon.

  21. Not a big deal and it should be easy to fix. In the included kneeboard for the Caucasus IFR mission the departure and arrival airports has been swapped. Double check the frequencies as well.
  22. Do you use external screens? I interpret it like @Caps Lock use external screens that does not dim.
  23. Did this happen after the last update. It sound like an issue with the viewport export. If the knob turns in game, there should not be a hardware issue, but rather a DCS issue.
