Total Controls is right now cooking up something new. An Apache MFD frame sized as the real deal. The buttons will be backlit with adjustable lighting. The VID-knob will have a center detent just like in the real helicopter. There will be an option to use it to the left or to the right to avoid input conflicts in Windows. The image shows a mock up, but it is very close tho the final product, however it will be more polished. We can not say an exact price rigth now, but we aim at around 100-120 USD per unit and release it planed to sometime this spring. We will sell discount bundles and separate table mounts.

Thanks for those words. Unfortunately no, the gear handle does not register a pull. It has one signal for up and one for down. However, you can bind anything else to gear handle unlock, like one of the rocker switches, or even the jettison button.

Hello! Can anyone help with exact dimensions of the AMPCD in the Hornet? Is it so that the vertical OSB rows are not centered relative to the screen or is it just a illusion? Can the AMPCD be exported to a separate screen as easy as the left and right MFCDs? If so, how?

You are right, but the jiggle in the switches is due to the design of the S-2AL rather than the thread size being off. The switch itself is a high quality switch and actually the most expensive part on the whole box. But if you find that we are wrong I would be thrilled if you give us the exact thread size. However we will look in to this in future revisions of the MFBB to see if this is something that can be adjusted. I am a but curious on your thoughts on the box other than the handles. Does it do it’s job for you?

Yes. If you do not fit the handles it will be regular switches.

This is a Windows restriction. If you use i.e. Joystick Gremlin you will see all 44 buttons. It does not affect any games (I've tried most of them). I am not sure about Falcon, since I've never tried it.

What kind of throttle do you use? Most top tier equipment has a dedicated switch for these things.

Awesome! I have to try this out. Regarding the HSI since there is no limit to the turn of the CRS-nob I don’t think this ever will be possible.

Frankly I’m getting more and more disappointed when it comes to the A-10C II. I thought we were getting a brand new version of the airplane. Instead we got the exact same thing with a HMCS and some new weapons. All other new ED modules have light axis. I think we can demand such a feature in a new module.
