I turns into a slide show during low level engagement. Single digits of frame rate I'd say :(. I don't think I should have the need to reduce to medium or below since I run Arma3 on max and IL-2 CloD on max and RoF on max. To me this screams of under developed engine and all efforts should be to get EDGE out! In the attached image the resolution is lowered to be able to cut the settings :)

Same here, terrible FPS with the last update! Completely unplayable when there is action going on. Tried unisntall/install and repair and reinstalling all drivers in the system, No joy! W7 64 updated to latest AMD FX8350 CPU 4,0 GHz (Big aircooler 45 degrees under load) 16 GB RAM AMD HD7970 GPU, Cat 13,7 (13,9 broke everything) BenQ 120 Hz XL2411T monitor SSD 60 GB for OS HDD 150 GB 7200 rpm for Game Resolution 1920*1080

Hi, I have a Q that i can't find the answer to and need clarified :) I have all modules except Mi8 and I recently lost an activation due to error on my part :D. Now I wonder if I install through Steam instead will the hassle with standalone DRM and activations/deactivations go away? The reason for me asking is that I experiment a lot with my computer and occasionally things go bad even though I have backups and clones of the OS disk.

Yes, I know, that's why I don't like this type of DRM but I'll survive because the product is great :)

Thank you very much. That did it with some loss of activations. I must say I of all DRM that needs to be used I much prefer the ones that checks against a server instead of this method.

Don't work, get the error on all keys and DCS crashes. How do I uninstall making sure that the bloody DRM also gets out of the system. I have no more patience with this. In the example above it looks like the key for CA worked but it didn't. Every time i start i get this and DCS crashes! And the other keys don't get past the error report no matter how many times I reenter the keys.

Hi, Made the mistake to not deactivate before changing CPU and thus rendering all activations useless. The problem is I cannot deactivate since the activations are no longer valid. I cannot activate them again either! So I'm in a catch 22 here, nothing works! Only left now is to remove it completely and reinstall again. How can I be sure that all remnants of the installations are gone so that the new activations work? Right now I'm not particularly happy with this DRM system.

Just for the pure technical interest of some people i have here some pictures of how it is put together. Notice also that there appears to be heating in the armoured glass according to the parts list. Images taken from copies of instructions.

I beg to differ, in all drawings the nose sits lower than the cockpit and slants away. Also all accounts from IRL pilots in the interviews and in books states clearly that only during taxi the visibility was hampered by the nose. In flight you didn't see it according to them. In fact the overall visibility and SA in the FW190 was only equalled by the P51 and the Me262.

That was my perception of data that it should be very well matched with a slight advantage to the P51. I can manage to avoid the D9 getting a firing solution but he climbs, dives and has better level speeds than me and I can't turn inside him without snapping. Ergo I need more practice on this machine :)

Ah, don't get me wrong, I love it and will spend the time on it :) I'm part of a squad so I'll tackle it there as well. Just wonder about if it's possible to extend in level flight from the Dora? I've just started to fly the P51 so I'm very early in the curve so I'll get the hang of it. I think I made the post wrong. English isn't my native language so some things might be formulated incorrectly. Let me put it this way. Is it possible to break engagement and extend away in level flight? Is it possible to catch the D9 in a climb? Is the D9 faster on acceleration and in a dive. I have ordered D9 data from archive in Germany mainly because I'll fly the German planes primarily but also because I want to know real data :) Regards and thanks for the answers.

No matter what I do the Dora is impossible to get behind :joystick: I've trimmed, set radiators rpm and power. I've made sure that stick and rudder input are corrected for the short throw of our fake equipment :music_whistling: (warthog btw) and still the D9 out turns and out climb me easily. Perhaps it should since it was arguably the best piston powered fighter of WWII with highly ergonomic pit and automated systems like the commandogerät. I seem to snap every time I turn but the most annoying part is that it accelerates away from me in every situation I cant even keep up in level flight. I know this is supposed to be hard but I need a hint in what direction I should look to get better:pain: Any ideas will be recieved with gratitude and if you don't have any I'll volunteer as target later on :megalol:

Please don't come dragging that resentment in here. You are allowed your opinion but remember that sometimes projects fail for no apparent reason. "No battle plan survives the first contact with the enemy" and we can't from our place as customer know or identify all the variables that led to CoD's lesser release. However the backbone of the sim was apparently sound as Team Fusion proves with their work.

I agree fully with that. I backed SC the very first month and I'm looking fwd to it and I didn't mean that they wouldn't make complex models but rather that the data of the models are fictional and thus a lot easier since they make it up as they go if you get what I mean. Here they have to find the historical data and program it to follow those as well as modelling to historical drawings that will be hard to find and cost money to acquire.

I'm not a programmer but since you can do it from the TARGET software there must be a possibility to write a script so that when dimming from your panel it will call the WH and dim the light.
