  1. I would say that for a "real" simpit the Cast AR is better.
  2. Excellent threads all of them :)
  3. Well, in the FW190 it's not possible because the flaps has fixed positions. up,take-off,landing and nothing in between.
  4. I crashed on my first 5 take off's but then I managed to get air born in a wobbly way :D Landing however I nailed a perfect 3 pointer on the first attempt :)
  5. Hear you, feel like I'm on skates trying to go straight :D
  6. Great :D
  7. Do what I did :) I gifted it to one of my squadmates so now we can battle each other ;)
  8. :megalol: Not entirely sure I'd want that picture :pilotfly:
  9. Really great ED, nice work and all the best.
  10. The CNC is very much upgradeable without to much trouble. A new spindle and spindle control (as Gadroc has done) and you can cut much more than bread mate :)
  11. I haven't made a decision yet. A full A-10 or F-16 (BMS Falcon) would be nice but then it's a wee bit difficult with other sims. Perhaps i would try to design a generic cockpit with some form of interchangeable front for the instrument panel. But it will be some time before that happens. have to properly learn the machines and refresh all my lost CAD/CAM education and stuff like that :music_whistling:
  12. Sorry but to that question I have no answer unfortunately. I'm also waiting for some info since I backed a couple of hundred.
  13. Here it is http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=126712
  14. The future might be fun :music_whistling: http://robosavvy.com/store/product_info.php/cPath/2054/products_id/4230 and http://robosavvy.com/store/product_info.php/products_id/4475
  15. Update: I copied all ini.lua files for the instruments from Loz helios profile and now it works! Don't know what gives since I couldn't find any differences in the files. But who cares, it works :)
  16. Hi Ian, Thanks for the help but it still don't work. Getting a bit frustrated about this atm :) Is there anything altered in Viewport aswell? I used to follow PeterP instructions but that doesn't work either.
  17. Hi, i can't find any info on this. I export the two MFCD's perfectly fine to Helios and all gauges works perfectly but I cannot export RWR, digital cklock, UHF and the rest of the indicators. Read through all threads I can find but nothing help. Any ideas?
  18. I got rid of my black screen by turning off triple buffer ini GPU settings for my AMD 7970
  19. Yes you can shift the view but then the bottom panel with instruments will not be fully visible to the pilot.
  20. Right, I said to myself let it go but I'll try to explain one more time why the refraction is important. The glass pane is 58mm thick, it's slanted towards the pilot and that means that the light (image) coming from over the cowling will bend downwards making the bar disappear. See images attached. Notice the first image the extreme result of refraction making the "bar" disappear and the cowling jump down to the bottom inside the glass. Also note that the side window are 30mm thick on the real thing! Also note that the side frame also looks significantly smaller.
  21. @Esac: Don't read the thread. Put the people you don't want to listen to in the ignore list and you'll never see any more posts. Not meaning this as an offence but merely a suggestion for you. regards
  22. Unfortunately I don't think it'l work :( Cast AR acts as a display unit and that means you have to edit the output lua file to make it appear as a monitor. Thus you can have the complete render on this but I don't think you can render a MFD for instance as every time you move your head the MFD would disappear. Of course I could be wrong and I'd like to be wrong :D
