Well, an option for having it OFF and ON would be great, we are fliying in the Caucasus with a Mirage, I dont mind having it if it can carry it. Your module is great and this thing is not an "attack" to the realism, maybe an Exocet would be. I am in 100% but just because of "those guys" an option would be great. And if the worst case, if you don´t want it, dont use it.

Well, I hope ED is not that straightminded to only release one module at a time because of sales. Bug fixing and stulff like that is understable. So yes, I also think is going to release this year and I hope it will be near the Spitfire

Would a comparision of missiles from the same era be helpfull? Maybe the stats can be similar to an Aim-7 for example if this one has the relock capabilitie

It depends on the position of the target and yours. If he is notching you will be losing him 90% of the times even if he is right at your 12 O´clock. The thing is to avoid sharp turns while he is on defensive, that helps most of the times. I was hit pleny of times with R60, my plane needed to do RTB, 70% of the times I lost the radar and in the other 30% my navigation systems and engine was damaged. R60 has a very small warhead and I understand that weapons like this should not Rip-off an aircraft that also has been built with a Delta that makes it even more stronger to rip apart. Sorry but I have to disagree. I and our squadron makes plans and the server settings are plan-friendly so even a person new to DCS is confident to enter, read the rules and make his own plan. The realism comes from the people that fly, not the server but it is a great factor. The use of the F10 is also really the same as the kneeboard does, you can also make a "magical line" with a key and it will show your actual and perfect postion and if you are with your F10 all the time, where you can only see yourself you will be dead and to get to the objectives, where the fight is you will need to navigate, find the point and plan your flight to get there.

I Agree with Winchesterdelta1, lots of newbies in our squadron can join with some relief on the campaing without being bothered with 30 lines of reading, just knowing the sitation and reading the PDF at the Blueflag side, it is a big step for them but they want to do it right and also, we the elite can also enjoy a day off with a realistic enviorement. It gives some confidence in events like this. So much purism here and then you guys ask for unrrealistic loadouts :D

If Tactical markers or Own position marking should be off, I would say to take out the latter, Tactical markers really help and they are not a cheat, pilots can submit their info to the HQ who automatically tells it to other pilots in the same coaltion. Think of it as a HQ transmitting. On the other side, Own position marking is there and nobody is crying as for tactical markers when these are really helpful. Tactical markers does also the function of an AWACS even when you have none, Arma has this and is not an "arcade setting". What ED should maybe do is that only Tactical commanders can write on them 24/7 or the people in the same base can share their marks before takeoff
