  8. i had a similar problem not long ago (same story had it for about 6months). Anyhow, try the following: go into lock on, settings, change to input, select the x52 and just move the stick and the rudder. I dont know why, but it fixed it for me. Hope it fixes it for you as well. cheers :pilotfly: NotiA10
  9. I have uploaded my profile for you to http://www.lockonfiles.com It uses the programming capabilities of the STT software to have variable toebreaks depending on how hard you push down. As I just uploaded it a minute ago, you may not find it ready for download right away, have a look again tomorrow since all uploads are checked by the administrator prior they are made public. Another option is that you post your e-mail and I will send it to you directly. Cheers, :pilotfly: NotiA10
  10. Thanks DPS. Always enjoy your mission and the briefings. Thanks again, :pilotfly: NotiA10
  11. Could it be a firewall issue ?

  13. Hey Detzel, Dont appologize for writing long posts. I think all hog drivers here are more than happy to receive some additional info and a comparison to the real thing. Great post and thx for the info mate, wbr, :pilotfly: NotiA10
  14. thanks guys, your flattering comments are certainly motivating me to make more movies. I will redo this one oneday with better quality and smaller size and ofcourse a bit longer - at the time of making it i didnt have the knowledge to keep it down at a reasonable size, therefore i just cancelled the landing. thanks again, take it easy and catch you soon, :pilotfly: NotiA10 p.s./ sorry aimmaverick i havent seen the vid Thrustinburnt - if i happen to stuble accross, it i will post the link
  15. this is the first movie (first of two in total) i put together quiet a few months ago and stumbled accross again whilst making space on my harddrive. hope u enjoy it. wbr, :pilotfly: NotiA10 http://rapidshare.de/files/35306369/LockOn_A-10_A.rar.html
  16. I just contucted some new tests now and it appears that the outside view causes the problem. When I edit the track and if i am in the cockpit view whilst designating the target the mav homes in to where it is supposed to. When i look at the plane with F2 or F3 it misses it. hmmm wbr, :pilotfly: NotiA10
  17. Ardillita, re. my reply above I got confused there - the mav does not hit the target when editing :pilotfly:
  18. Ardillita, that is exactly what i do, i record the track and then save it - then i edit it and save it under a different name again - all fine so far - even whilst editing the mav hits the target. Inguana, i dont make any changes in between, not even changes with the grafic settings. At first i thought it has something to do with the track ir, then with the target designator (changed the buttons on the hotas) and also with the joggle (shift j) somehow screwing up the designation of the target. None of those seems to be the culprit. An other possibility could be that the area (currently gelenzik) sort of mucks it up. I will try somethings today as i have more time to experiment. I will let you know if i have success thanks for trying to help me, I appreciate it wbr, :pilotfly: NotiA10
  19. Thanks Ironhand - in the meantime i think i tried it all but without success - bummer wbr :pilotfly: NotiA10
  20. lol :megalol: like it :pilotfly: Noti--0
  21. lol no prob inguana  and certainly no offence taken, i know very little about the SU25 otherwise my name would be NotiSu25(T). Then again I am not an A10 expert either  - anyhow. wbr, :pilotfly: NotiA10
  22. Hi Fox, Try the following: switch your electronics on and let everthing adjust prior starting the engines - should do the trick. hope ur well, take it easy mate and see u soon, :pilotfly: NotiA10
  23. Hi Guys, got a small problem which is sort of driving me nuts - i recorded some trackfiles - viewed them - everything fine - afterwards i edited the views - saved it under a different name - now, when i view the edited track the mavs launched do no longer hit their targets - i tried all sorts of things - messed around with the launch range, etc .... - it just does not want to work - arrrrrgggg :helpsmilie: :helpsmilie: :helpsmilie: pls thanks in advance for your help, :pilotfly: NotiA10
  24. Hi Zoltar, how are u going with your strafing now ? anyhow, dont know how the others do it but i for myself use landmarks like roads plus i try to remember the heading and i always try to keep my eyes on the targets constantly checking were they are. Keeping your eyes on it is the best method if it is possible. hope it helps mate, wbr, :pilotfly: NotiA10
  25. Rich i e-mailed you the track Dynamo i completely agree with you that by strafing you waste a lot of ammo. However, under certain circumstances, where time over the target area is limited due to for example aproaching enemy fighters, a quick and precise strafing run (on soft targets !!!) may be the only and best option (naturally only if you are out of clusters). wbr :pilotfly: NotiA10
