after reading through all of the latest post i would just like to mention the following - i dont recall a lockon event with so many participants - everyone seemed to have a great time (even our 25s which were on standby practice for almost 2h and 30 mins - sorry brewber :smilewink: ) - there was some great flying and teamwork - a lot of people would have learned something (at least me) - the mission was done and thought through very well - i would imagine that the satisfation of scoring a kill was higher than normal due to the circumstances - to make it absolutely perfect for everyone is impossible as Fudd already mentioned initially - this is work in progress in order to improve on it he needs the suggestions and opinions of the community and the participants. Fudd is the master of ceremony and after what he (with the help of other members and squads) made possible, there is every reason to trust his judgement and decisions on what will be next and how it will be done. so lets keep suggesting. wbr, :pilotfly: NotiA10

check out the temps. usually motherboard manufactureres offer some tool to monitor the cpu and system temperature. installing a fan certainly wouldnt do any harm in any case. wbr, :pilotfly: NotiA10

i downloaded the patch with the a10 - what a waste of downloaded mbs - the hog is absolute crap, well its not for me anyway - ill stick with lockon !!! good part of AA is the AI s are very smart and the ground combat is good one day, who knows we may (:huh: ) be able to do all that in lockon as well

Fudd, Timezones will always be a problem, either too early or too later as we know. However, rather then getting everyone together at the same time, why not hink about a mission/exercise that goes for say 12 hours and gives more people the (realistic) chance to get involved ? Certainly this is mostlikely more complex but it could be a possibility further down the road. just some food for thought, :pilotfly: NotiA10 ps/ looking forward to flying ORF next weekend

check the profile which you use for lockon and have a look at the hotkeys. only possibility i can think of is that you load a specific profile for lockon and the keys are not assigned in this trackir profile. hope you get it working, wbr, :pilotfly: NotiA10

close lockon, close trackir, then go to the lockon folder/config and delete the trackir file and the delete the trackir file in the input folder. start trackir and then start lockon - should be working now :pilotfly: NotiA10

Aimmaverick, you can do a rough calculation of your true airspeed very easily TAS = IAS + (IAS x 2%) x (Altitude in Feet / 1000) this should be sufficient wbr, :pilotfly: NotiA10

i am running XP and i did a complete reinstall of lockon, fc and patched it with 1.12b. running without any problems. only difference is the appearance of the starforce diskcheck window. wbr :pilotfly: NotiA10
