All I want to do is use it for the Flaps, Prop control and mixture but it won't let me set it up that way. It recognises my inputs on this device as AXIS movements and tells me that movement is already assigned to roll or pitch etc. Must be an easier way to do this.

Has anyone got one of these and managed to set it to work with flaps/prop rpm/mixture in the P-51? Everytime I try to edit in options it configures it as an axis for pitch/roll.... really frustrating. Does anyone have a profile for this? Cheers..... Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr:mad:

I get some pauses now and then, got a feeling it's the drivers for my card because the card is a 2gb 6950 and is more than fast enough to handle this game, I also have 8gb of Ripjaw 1600 and a 955x4 Black Edition CPU with an OCZ SSD. Either that or it's the game.

It was Big Beautiful Dolls' last film role. Rob Davies is also credited.

I watched a video recently and the pilots were told that anything moving in Germany was 'Fair game' and to strafe at will. In this video you can see horses pulling carts and they get the good news too. Quite disturbing to see animals being killed by .50 cal rounds but the aim (pardon the pun) was to totally destroy the ability to move equipment/food and anything that was of use to the German war machine. Apparently Chuck Yeager was heard to say after a briefing that he felt quite uneasy about shooting animals and strafing vehicles that could possibly contain non-military types..!!

A little OT but I love this video, I don't normally like this sort of music but..... It fits with the video. The other thing that still amazes me is the fact that these pilots on the strafing runs here had no idea that their work would be shown to millions of people. To them it was a dangerous venture into enemy held territory but to us it's just another youtube video. Hat's off to all the pilots who flew/fought, regardless of axis or allies.

I believe Joe Kennedy over any of the armchair experts Viper. He knows his Mustangs. And the other argument is, when others have blocked or taped the gun ports up, NO WHINE!!! You have to see a whistler fly before you believe it. But hey, I don't need to prove it, just ask Joe!!!

Try a bit of flaps when dogfighting (combat flaps) stops it bucking and power stalling as quickly, you get a lot more warning.
