  1. Some of the skins for the Mig-21 need to be updated to work with the latest build for DCS World. I don't know if this particular skin will work now, but is this what you are looking for? http://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/1305861/  MJ
  2. The A6 is beautiful. I want one! MJ
  3. This video is nothing special, but it does show off how great the DCS Alpha is running on a pretty middle of the road PC. I do have distance set at high, I'm using flat shadows, no HDR, & no depth of field. I mainly use complex shadows, HDR & depth of field for screenshots. http://dai.ly/x3uqrel  MJ

    DCS Tucano

Makes sense & no big deal. The Tucano can be used for counter insurgency mission simulation, which is what I would want to use the Super Tucano for. I will still miss the word, "Super."  MJ
  5. Wow! Great landing, there. I am still learning how to hover and all that good stuff. The only safe way I can land is with an airplane style approach to the runway. I love the challenge, though. Awesome ride! MJ
  6. My vote is for the Embraer EMB 314 Super Tucano. The Tucano would be a great and welcomed DCS add-on, but I am a sucker for the word Super, so if we can get the one with Super in it, that would be cool. :D  MJ
  7. My headphones with mic died a while ago. I want to try to get back into playing with my multiplayer squad, so I need to buy a new set. Any recommendations, for under $100? MJ
  8. I love the Mil-8. This is one great ride. if you don't have the Hip, you are missing out, really. The Black Shark is my go to scout & tank sniper. The future Belsimtek Hind is going to be my go to run and gun the place up, while listening to Slayer, gunship. The Mil-8 is my anything & everything else that is super awesome to do, all around good time, helicopter. I really can't wait to use the Mil-8 for transporting passengers, search & rescue, hauling stuff. I am in for a treat. Surely, for many of you, I am simply preaching to the choir, but bare with me, this is all new to me, and super fun. The Mil-8MTV2 is a real work of art. She is such a beauty, interesting to look at, even when cold and dark, on the ramp. So much fun to sim fly. I wish I became a HIPster, sooner. Thank you to the team and testers, for all your hard work. I appreciate it! MJ P.S. I can't wait to try the Mil-8 campaign. I have heard great things about it! :pilotfly:
  9. That is generous. Squirtle is awesome. If I had a Bulbasaur, I would do it. :) MJ
  10. If the rules allowed someone to givesaway a Mi-8 to me and I incidentally, just so happened, by some coincidence, to giveaway a BF-109K4 to that person, by random chance, I would do so. :smilewink::music_whistling::lol:  MJ
  11. Thank you for the heads up, Vincent. I ought to read the rules. I withdraw my invitation to make an offer to trade and I won't make such an invitation again. Thank you for bringing this to my attention. MJ
  12. While the BF-109K4 is outstanding, when I have the time to sim fly WWII online, I intend to use the P51 and the P-40 with my virtual squad mates. For offline, I really enjoy the Black Shark and I think I would love the Mi-8. Anyone want to trade their Mi-8 for a BF-109K4? MJ
  13. I tried to make the rocket attack video look a little bit more like a Warleaks amateur video. Here is the link: http://dai.ly/x3mvozo  MJ
  14. This is a Blackshark Start Up video. You can follow along using the checklist in the attachment. I did not make the checklist and I need to research the author, so I may give due credit. http://dai.ly/x3meg0k Normal Checklist (Pro) v2.1.pdf
  15. This is just a short video of one of my early efforts with the Mirage 2000c. I am extremely happy with the Razbam Mirage 2000c. I appreciate that the module is still in Beta, but I am having a real blast learning all of the systems and messing around with this extremely nimble little machine. MJ http://dai.ly/x3jphbq
  16. I love the Mirage 2000. I can't wait to try the Mirage 2000 out over Nevada, today. My only regret is that I can't play with her, tomorrow!! MJ
  17. I really like the FM and I think it matches up with videos I have seen of various Mirage 2000 variants. The real Mirage 2000 flies like it is on rails and the roll rate is unbelievably fast, almost looks like the video is moving in fast forward during rolls. This plane variant is not unlike the one that shot down an F-16 during a knife fight in actual, not simulated, combat. A plane that is a threat to a F-16 in a dogfight is bound to have some serious sick moves. I am sure the team will fine tune the FM as they go along, but I am very pleased with their efforts, thus far. MJ
  18. I'M very impressed and pleased with all three. Thanks for the heads up, Zebra! MJ
  19. I'm really looking forward to a clear and concise instructional video on how to program and use the INS. I suspect that the INS will be one of those sweet spot moderate difficulty concepts, that engages and challenges flight simmers, without being too complex to be fun and rewarding. I can't wait to master the INS! MJ
  20. The F-16 is arguably under appreciated in the US, though, as a Battlestar Galactica fan, I have to respect any machine nicknamed, The Viper. :smilewink:  MJ
  21. In part, for sentimental reasons. French planes, such as the SPAD VII Chasseur, French air aces, such as Georges Guynemer & Rene Fonck, and US Aces using French Chasseurs, such as Edward Rickenbacker, inspired me to get involved in flight simulation. I see the Mirage 2000c as a sort of spiritual successor to the SPAD VII. The Mirage 2000c reminds me of the very reasons I sim fly in the first place. MJ
  22. +1 I really like both, but I like the Mirage 2000c far more than the F-16 for WVR Air to Air. If, in multiplayer, we are hitting a ground target or if it is a BVR situation and the AIM-120c is in the picture, I may feel differently, but in a WVR furball, I would rather the Mirage 2000c, hands down. MJ
  23. This would be utterly perfect, assuming that all of the procedures are the same for the DCS Mirage, Empennage! :) I really like these videos, very cool! Thank you for posting these super cool videos! MJ
  24. Is the tape on the left the Vertical Speed Indicator? :detective_2: Just a guess. I have no clue. MJ
  25. CptSmiley, Have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year and yes, you can bet we are all going to be trying out that amazing Mirage 2000c and having a great time of it, too. MJ
