Thank you very much! I love this Game and am looking forward to your mission but the Game hates me some times...

I tried EI and Mozila... everytime I download the file it is named "Operation Hangover-1.2.man"... the ".man" file extention its not reconized by DCS, so I changed it to ".miz" and when I then run the mission all there is, is just my single mustang with waypoints leading to where I guess the enemy should be.

I am no expert but it seems to me that the propellers damage model is incorrect (yes, I know damage model is still WIP) and it "folds" opposite its rotation. As the pilots sits, the prop rotates clockwise and when it impacts an object like the ground it's damage model displays the leading edges of the blades to the right... this would indicate counter-clockwise rotation... It does display the damage to the aft but shouldn't it display to the left and not the right... Does that make since to anyone?

I have seen some screen shots that shows the Pilot in Desert Tan instead of the OD Green... is this a Skin or is it included in the game and I am just missing it... I just looked in the User Files section and did not find anything.

It works now. You have to hold the "\" key down until your character stops speaking. Radio works fine before engine start up. Just turn on battery and genorator.

So true, but then it was HBO. They have always been about quality, not profit. I cannot for one think of any movie or miniseries that they just completely botched. This movie could have been and should have been better.

Well I just finally watched the Movie "Red Tails" and I must say I was UNABLE to enjoy this entertaining Hollywood depiction and I blame it all on ED and those who took part in "DCS: P-51D Mustang". Why blame them some of you might be asking? Well let me just say this, ED has done such an outstanding job replicating the air frame and platform - that I found myself spotting every minute deficiency in this great Hollywood portrayal like the fuel gauge and overall reconstructed flight model. Much like an Armed Service Person (like I am) notices errors in military uniforms and customs. To the developers, you have outdone yourselves with this beautiful aircraft and I applaud your painstaking devotion to accuracy. I know this will not be a period specific combat simulator, but I can only feel that without period specific aircraft and other units, you are doing a disservice not only to yourselves but the 1,000's of man hours spent creating such a lovely simulation and I would gladly pay more for the future updates. In closing, I do not wish for you to take this as disrespect or discontent, I have the utmost respect and confidence in all of your work. My only hope is that somewhere a third party is creating a WWII mod.

So..? Is this normal for the game to ignore you?

Question... Everytime I try contacting units in game they never seem to respond or only respond after the fact. I am using the correct radio freq (which took me forever to realize JTACs default was FM and the Mustang was AM only...:doh:) The comms menu displays white text at all times for the following example... I will request permission to taxi and wait... after about 5min I say the heck with it and start to taxi... the second I start to move the tower comes on and tells me I am clear to taxi to the runway and hold short. Next I ask to take off and the same thing... I start to power up and head down onto the runway and takeoff, just a I rotate the tail wheel off the tower tells me I am clear... well too late now... I will fly around and contact the airfield and inform them I am inbound and get no responce... I ask for a heading... nothing... I am not sure what I am doing wrong...

Since this is my first DCS purchess and I am getting back into Flight Simulators since FS2000 and the original IL-2... what is "Central Position Trimmer Mode" under the "MISC" tab in the "Options"... Is it Simplified Trimming? Haven't tried as it is late and I have work in the morning... :(

if I do that I cannot use the different Modes and I have also been unable to program the built in Mouse in the throttle. The game does not alow me to program it.

All, I have installed my Saitek X52 Pro and SST Software but I am unable to define my X52. The SST Program always crashes. Saitek is not open on the weekends and I have found no luck in their Forums. Can someone please help me. I am running Windows 7.

How do I use it? I have a X52 Pro, but I have been unable to get throttle Mouse buttons to work and my SST Program crashes every time I try to use it...? please Help.

All, I am finally getting back into the PC world after years of XBox gaming and it was the YouTube Videos and the look and quality of both DCS A-10 and P-51 that did it. Now to my questions... Are both games stand alone or do I need to purchess A-10 before P-51? Since I am likely going to buy both anyways. Just wanted to know what order I should go in if that matters. Thanks
