Hello there: I would like to thank all of you for your best wishes regarding our father´s health. I´m happy to announce that the very worst is over, and he faces the long road of recovery, it has been a very hectic period of time for all of us, but we are back in office ready to get back to what we left behind when all this started. So expect in the coming days some more development news and pics Once again, thank you all Best regards Ron C. Zambrano RAZBAM

No Mig-29 from RAZBAM for DCS, you can expect an extremely detailed one for FSX/P3D thou from M2M Prowler

Tools is no problem, if it comes to that.. We have some terrains in mind, but the team is really busy right now, if there are any terrain dev that wants to jump in, i´m here Prowler
-
If we can assemble the right team, i don´t see any reason why not..

Damn! our secret is out... Yo Zeus, pack it up and let´s run outta here... ..get real, man... Prowler

Something like this?

EA6B Nosewheel Problem
Prowler111 replied to crazyeddie's topic in Utility/Program Mods for DCS World
Hello there: After all this time, i just checked a PM which directed me to this thread. This is not our EA-6B , BUT it´s Virtavia´s (former Alphasim) and i can assure you guys, this is very illegal! Best regards Prowler -
It means exactly that, it will eventually, be coded, finished and shipped as a product. The proof of concept lies in some development techniques, and AFM stuff, guess what, it worked. As for what we are actively working, we are currently committed to the M2000C and the T-2, other models are in "hold" for reasons, out of our hands. But the team is always working, maybe i should stop posting pics of stuff we are testing and concepts we are trying to include into our products lineup? I really try to refrain to post pics of what we have and are working just because i know the level of expectation it will create, not to mention all the projects that are not out there yet, but this particular case, i simply couldnt because what i was trying to prove...worked. For instance we do have a nicely looking A-29 Supertucano, all textured and stuff in the sim, it´s not into coding phase or anything, but we have to put it into the sim in order to see how it looks, don´t we? ..Won´t happen again, i promise.. Best regards Prowler

Completely understand you, but trust me, if you could see the amount of airframes almost there, for DCS that have to be put on hold due to stuff not in our hands, you´ll say Oh good Lord!. Seriously, sometimes we are in the hands of ED and the continuous evolving of DCSW, the bright side of this is that they are there, waiting for the right time. The M2000C was moved forward over the T-2 for various reasons, sometimes we have to make a big business decision and we took it for the M2000C, UNLESS something unforseen by us happens, this bird will hit the DCS skies this very same year. Best regards Prowler

Not at all, there is so much happening at ED with new tech being implemented and stuff that we decided to wait a bit for it, but it has been an amazing learning tool for us, let me tell you, that i, personally, am a big fan of the T-2 Best regards Prowler

Well, we already have this: ...Just saying...:-) Prowler

Well, i think we are not giving the correct message or it´s not understandable. We do have a lineup, and we do have some different 3d developers (myself included), each one to their own project.Currently, the T-2 is very far into development, sure it might not be a popular one, but will cover a need into the sim. The T-6 TexanII you see here is being developed by Jose Valdez, and the M2000C by Tim Taylor, both, will see the light of the day in DCS, but at their own time.By the moment the T-2 is out, we must have the basics(3d mesh work for both exterior and cockpit, mapping/texturing, animations) for the next project ready so the tedious and complicated process of coding into it can begin and so on, that way, we can have a fluid production line. What you´re seeing is part of that process while is being done, we can always change this and simply show nothing.Like i already stated, we are doing incremental developments as the source code evolves, this means we have to adapt our production line up with what we currently have available. Best regards Prowler

Ok, here it goes, there are some things we can control, and some we definitely can´t. We have to go at both paces, eventually both "lines" will get together and this aircraft will be in YOUR rig.It does not means we stopped developing it, it means it reached as far as currently, can go.So we took the decision to start with less complicated aircraft and move forward, that way, we can have a steady flow of products, at the level we decided (AFM´s there is no other option from us, and of course A-10 DCS) until everything gets together. So,there will be a Harrier (GR´s and AV-8B) in DCS from us? YES, in due time, and this applies to the F-15E Strike Eagle as well.Like i once said, mesh work? that´s just the tip of the iceberg, and to be honest, anyone with some degree of 3d studio max knowledge (and the proper tools) can put anything in DCS.Now,make it functional, that´s a whole another story, so having said that, this is the way we are moving within our products, incremental developments. F-15E and Harrier mesh work is already there. There is no point on posting pictures of stuff that will not be in the sim until some other developments happen. We are about to finish a T-2, and we are already working in a Mirage2000C and there a T-6 TexanII is also being worked on.These are what you´ll get in the short/medium term from us. Best regards Prowler

Ehem...is Ronald..no Roland...:-)

Guys, there are no civilian aircraft in the pipeline, and least not from us, Jose is doing some civilian aircraft for our FSX production line. He is jumping into DCS with a T-6 Texan II trainer.Jose will create the mesh and all what´s involved with it and our coding team will put it into DCS.This development will be done at Jose´s own pace and you´ll see updates as soon as he gets stuff done. Why a T-6 Texan II you´ll say?, well since we are doing to the Navy a T-2 for carrier ops (and learning the ropes into DCS development) we are using the Texan II to the very same purpose to the USAF/Other Air Forces and at the same time to learn more into MFD´s development in DCS, which will lead us to higher performance aircraft, like the F-15E and Harrier and such. It´s all a learning process, we are taking advantage of what we have done already, and we want a steady flow.BTW, questions regarding this model should be directed towards joanvalley (Jose Valdez) which is very eager to answer them.He is project creator and also it´s manager. Best regards Prowler

It´s pretty much still there, and we are receiving submissions, checking on some developers work and such, and that´s pretty much all i can say about it. Best regards Prowler
-
And you´re totally wrong, the project is not cancelled, it´s pretty much alive, but there is so much we simply can´t say in the open.. Prowler

Would you want/ allow flyable civilian aircraft in DCS
Prowler111 replied to Kroll's topic in DCS Wishlist
I say no, at least no with current DCS "universe". As it currently stands, DCS lacks too many "civvie stuff" to create something "A-10 level" into the sim, and IMHO if you don´t aim to that level of fidelity, there is absolutely no point in simulate anything GA (general aviation), because that´s the whole point.Maybe if ED devotes and creates a "cross platform" that include navigational aids, better terrain features, "live" weather(online updated), better AI,credible ATC and much more, it could be up for a consideration, but what´s the point in flying a FC3 level Cessna in a universe that doesn´t even bring you sight seeing? Just IMHO from my personal standpoint and also, from my developer point of view. -
You´re aiming your guns to the wrong people here, dude. We are quite an open development group, BUT, DCS is not our creation, it´s ED´s and they have their own set of rules..or you don´t play at all. SO, after having said that, all i can say is, once again, due to the nature of the aircraft, it´s self explanatory.. Best regards Prowler

Gents: We just turned 10 years of actively creating content for flight simulators, it has been a great run, and we are looking forward to include in our record, DCS aircraft! Best regards Prowler

Gents, we are proud to announce a new team member, cptsmiley, who is going to be doing our AFM coding and some other stuff. Wellcome aboard CptSmiley! Best regards Prowler

The Harrier has not been shelved, it has been moved in the development scheduled.Everything has changed in DCS code wise so we have to adapt if we want to release a top notch product. Like i once said, putting pretty meshes in DCS is relatively easy, making them work properly is a huge task, the learning curve is steep...very steep, and the Harrier is by no means, an easy aircraft to replicate. Please be patience.. Best regards Prowler
