  1. Question - Answer Today i was asked, if it would be ok to add 2 more Aim-9 on empy Pylons of the F-15 (or for example change R-60 also to R-73 Migs). The answer is simple NO ! Reason: Besides, that we use only weapons from the 80s, these configurations have been made for good reasons. One is timeframe. Second is to enjoy the closing edge from BVR to WRV with all nessary tactics and adrenalin kicks combined with this. (what they have :smilewink:) Third we want to avoid spamming before merge, in order to give them a chance to enjoy good dogfights once in that situation. People have to be disziplined with loads and how and when they use what. You can change FUEL-load. (Fuel-Tanks or -amount) Further, weapons load in "Last Stand" Mission are changed relating to Night-time. A-10 have IR-Mavs and Su25 carry candle bombs with "fair conditions to use them. Things really come down to good coms, teamplay and -tactics. Sometimes "less is more". :smilewink: Have fun Gents

  4. There will be everytime fine differences what should be or could be. The main idea was to bring back online fun to "consistent" fights. The edge between BVR and WVR and the thrill and the nessary tactics with it. I know pll tend to go the "honoring easy way", what confirms with kinda success in killing and easy downing ala maddog "oops i had a radar, i forgot" , but we believe this is more beauty in its own kind. PS: aim-9 was good enough yesterday to kill a Su-27 in A-10 after a hot merge and few missile exchanges :smilewink:
  5. I have lockon 1.0 + 1.1 CD + 1.12a I tried to install once 1.12b but it didnt work ..and later i heart ..its only for Vista ( i have XP ) Now, have i done something wrong (EU , US version) or do i really need 1.12b and is there any BuG-Fix difference between 1.12a and 1.12b????

  8. Currently Running 3 Missions objectivebased auto-rotating starting from Middle (The Outbreak) and changing depening on which side won. The "Last Stand Missions" comings soon. Also, secondary objectives for Fighters are going to be added in near future. For details please join server (or/and save) Mission for tactical briefings or planings.   9. Once finished ( 2-3 days, with opitmization in combat scenarios and FPS-tests ) they will be on server.... available for everyone to save them and to brief tactics.
  10. Just fly it guys later...you will see what fun that is... on a test day Mustang was guest in our coms and believe me ....that yalling on coms was indication of great thrill and kills :megalol:. Combats really get closer but still alot "good" range kills were made even with AiM-7s and R-27s. Tactics Teamplay :smilewink:

The reasons ( idea for this was this) The F-15 have advantage on far ranges with 4 AIM-7 (thats where they play it out), but the Migs have 4 heaters (2more 2x R-73 and 2x R-60) at close range and have advantage there. Once they can come close enough THEY can play it out and the F-15 instead has tons of flares. TEAMplay cuz of this is VERY VERY crucial on the edge from BVR to WVR. Idea was to avoid last moment missile spamming and forcing ppl to fly BFM with thrill and beauty and excitement. But i would not bother if ppl do take 2 AIM-9 more ( RVE-Buster would not kick or ban for this either ) Basically, from Air to Air or Air to Ground the Missions are designed in such a way, that you will have close "eye on eye" actions. Ground-Pounders will have alot Fun, hard but not impossible, that i can promise. I flew every area myself in testflights, looking how it acts - considering this mission is made for server endurance.

  18. Combined with Campaign-Style based missionrotations and nicely desinged missions (up to help here) i think this can become a really good idea. Meanwhile the popularity and the usabilty of exploits became so standart that you cant blame ppl thinking they do the right thing only because it works. (The days of BVR without using radar and brains) As far WE can not change the missile codes ourself by making patches we can still make our scenario more enjoyable on a more interesting level.
