I hope ED makes dual gpu support. Right now I have a Dell monitor with 2560x1400 resolution and with AA and Vsync the frame do drop a lot, or hopefully with multicore support it wouldn't even have to. but I think it wouldn't hurt.

Your fine with a FX-8350, Right now I have a i7 3930k with a saphire 7970 ghz 6gb and I get around 45-50 fps on max, But if I want a all around battle with ground vehicles it will drop for me around half the frames. Just do what I'm doing, waiting patiently till multicore support. I have a FX-8350 on my girlfriends rig with a 6970 and DCS is about 30-35 fps. Stick with your setup its a solid cpu.

Well to be honest I think FSX is dead. Microsoft killed it I think in dec-jan. They halted all development for flight and multiplayer for FSX which was gamespy. The only thing FSX has is the 3rd party developer community which is still strong. I bought FSX when it first came out and I recently installed it again because I saw a new plane that came out, the Majestic Dash 8. Which looked great and seem to be the best FSX plane out there but I still think there needs to be a new flight sim for commercial airlines, I don't know if X-plane is there. I heard X-plane developer Austin Meyer is not really cooperating with third parties (It's just a rumor). But i find it frustrating that there is no quality control like ED. But if anyone has more info and opinion about it i would like to hear it.

I agree Chaos, At least they are being up front with this. ED is the only company that has the guts to make high fidelity sims like this. So I support you guys all the way (ED).

1+ I feel the same way, the main reason I started buying dcs products was how amazing the A-10c was and still is. Then I purchased Blackshark 2 and p-52 Again amazing modules. FC3 I just got to support ED and it was ok but not what I expected especially since I got introduced to ED with the Warthog. I was really hoping since I saw the beauty of the F-15C in FC3, and to have that high end fidelity as the three before would be amazing. I'm still going to buy it but I wanted to share my concern, When I hear about DCS, I think about quality and determination. I don't want to have three different Tiers of the same plane in my library.

I agree with Teapot if this aircraft would be made for dcs, I would like a advance module. Ed has spoiled us with they're high fidelity aircrafts, and now I don't want anything but. Although I enjoy flying the F-15 on FC3 can't wait for the release of the standalone module.

I hope so, it will be great taxiing with the already great sound effects of the rain dropping on to your aircraft, and having the visuals will bring it out even more. Also even maybe going threw a cloud get little water particles. just throwing this out there but more aggressive wind sounds would be great

When you on your steam library highlight dcs a10c, on the right there is a link section and it says cdkey.

I have the same problem, annoying especially with track ir. The P-51 also had that problem with early beta version. Still can't stop me from starting this baby up.

Yeah I'm getting extreme long loading time and in BS2 it freezes on the briefing screen after loading. It took over 3 minutes to load any aircrafts.

right click on your shortcut and type this on your Target "C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World\bin\DCS_updater.exe" update
