Myself and a couple of friends just finished this mission with Hawgs and we had no problems with JTAC. One of my favourites if not the one.

You spent 15 minutes trying and you thing that you know how much harder it is to air refueling? Go and train at least an hour per day and do that for a week. I'm sure that in the end its not so dificult. And I'm talking about a week training. Nothing compared to a proper combat flying in a CAS environment. You could spent several months on that and there's still alot remaining to master. If you have default curves values in your axis settings inside game try to increase them to around 15/20. It becomes easier to do small adjustments. And don't forget to trim your plane before refuel. It's a must.

Same here. Best framereate ever in any version of DCS. Almost duplicate from previous patch.

Echo38, I was flying with same payload, same fuel, same mission with same weather, same bearing and same altitude. Right after mission start so same time of day. Auto pilot on. Full throttle. Top speed 1.2.0: over 260kt Top speed 1.2.1: 225kt This was verified by me and two other mates. What conditions are you saying that are missing?

Echo38, read my opening post. Same mission, same conditions, same pilot, very diferent speeds. I would like to have any official information about this because patch readme doesn't say anything specific about this. Understand that this not a complain. If this is more real, than it's good to be this way. Just want to be sure if this has to do with A10 engine performance, bombs or airframe drag or simply mission over patch porked.

Same here. First 5 to 10 sec after mission start are a huge stutter like it is finishing loading last stuff but after that everything is ok now. It went from 8 FPS with prev 1.2.1 to 30 FPS with this update and my max GPU memory used on DCS went from over 2GB on 1.2.1 to 1750MB like it was on 1.2.0. -CBU explosions are at 7/8 FPS witch is no ideal but a bit better than before. -New canon effects on groung are very nice with good performance so is ok. -With hight textures I have 30 FPS looking down to terrain but some microstutters. With medium textures I have 26FPS but game is a lot more smooth. They aren't as sharp as high textures but with good anisotropic settings on nvidia control panel, this isn't a problem for me. -Aircraft max speed that I reported here is still a lot lower than before. -I also have this texture problem that I didn't have before patch 1.2.1.(this screenshot was made before this last update so I'm not sure if the problem is still there. Overall, after this update, my game is as good as it was before patch. If other problems were corrected than I think it becomes a good patch. I've to test multiplayer bug.

Everything on simulation mode as always. What I can't confirm is if this reduce speed is because of reduced engines power or increased airframe or bombs drag. But at least on my computer and on my friend computer is real. This happend on begining of Operation Hacienda.

Was training refuel after patch and notice that right now I can't get over 225kt where in same mission with same payload before patch I could reach easy over 260. It was very hard just to get near tanker. 30% fuel, 20000ft, no wind, (4 mav, 2GBU12, 2mk82, pods) I'm no A10 expert so I'm not sure if this is suposed to be correct. This also happened with my mate. Any one can confirm this?

Mad Tommy, I downloaded from world torrent and it take less than an hour for both files so Mustang is probably right about your problem. Unfortunately, with this version my game is almost unplayable due to reduce FPS with same older settings. I just hope that this problem will be soon resolved so me and my mates can fly again.

How can I keep my controllers settings on new installation? Is there a file where these are kept? Mainly axis assigned and curve values? Thanks.
