I guess this screenprint doesn't require explanation. :( Campaign is of course activated on modules manager. First time I see this problem. I just instaled this mod for colour roofs. Could it be the problem? https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=168266 Thanks for your suport :thumbup:

Happy Sound Mode Expansion user here! Andrey, I can't feel any effect when air brake is deployed on F-86. Everything else is fine. Already put the slider on max with no effect. Is this correct? And now a request::P -Can we have an engine (without afterburner) vibration. With simvibe, a similar program for simracing, we have engine vibration and that adds a lot of emersion when we start our engines. If this vibration was related to RPMs would be perfect.:pilotfly: Thanks and congrats for this amazing program.

Hi! I updated my computer with a new CPU and my motherboard chip had to be replaced also. As expected most of my DCS modules had to be reactivated. All my other modules went ok but F86 module refuses to work. When I start DCS this message apear. (Its in Portuguese but it says that due to an hardware change my activation key is no longer valid) I press Try again and already tried but option: -Re-insert my key witch gave me a successfull message -And tried with Proactive link to get another key witch gaveme another successfull message In game my F86 module apear as correct installed and activated both in main screen and modules manager and missions apear aswell. The problem is when I try to fly it I can't access to cockpit. I already tried to create a new mission from zero to eliminate missons/game version problems with no success and every time I start DCS the activation messages apear all over again. Hi all! I'm new to Mig-21 and wanted to fly this campaign. I tried first mission a couple of times and everything about the campaign worked ok (unfortunatly the same can't be said about my skills) but now, without any aparent reason I don't get any friendly AIs with me. My 'MissionScripting.lua' is edited as instructions and I don't have any 'MDC_campaign_results.lua' because I never ended first mission. Already redownloaded the campaign and resaved on mission editor as well. I'm playing it single player on DCS World openbeta. Is there any hidden file that could be doing this? I don't know what else to do. Thanks. -

No, I don't. This doesn't change the fact that all of this are a little fraction of area in front of the plane and all of this cannon elements are behind avionics and pilot titanium bath and both of them are almost never damaged on this situation. Neither wings, motors, fuel tanks, etc. I'm not saying that cannon is 100% protected on a face to face attack. I'm just asking about how often it hapens.

As Lxsapper said, I'm not talking about tactics. I'm talking about the fact that almost every damage that I get on face to face shooting results in canon damage. This is a front view of an A-10 and in red is the canon. The ramaining of it is behind me, my titanium protection and avionics and I really can't undersand why canon is always the guy to die. As you can see its just a very small area of all plane but it seems a magnet to killer bullets When doing canon passes I'm flying the same high that I see on most of movies (real and ingame) and inside canon specs and tutorials. Remember that I'm just talking about face to face shooting.

Almost everytime I do a low pass for cannon fire against something that have any kind of gun over it, I get my cannon damage. And I'm not talking about shilkas or AAA. I don't know how good are these guys shooting or how strong is my canon protection but I now that on a face to face shooting is impossible to my plane to be damage on side and below panels and almost everytime, canon panels. Always thought that this plane has a very strong front protection but it doesn't seems so. I do understand that from times to times this cannon damage could occur but in DCS seems pretty often to me.

Question about DCS serials and Steam

I have another question about keys. I have DCS World and A-10C installed without steam and today I bought BS2 and Huey by steam. How can I install or get keys from steam to my DCSW? On Steam, DLCs don't show up on my games library. -
Luthier, isn't terrain a multi-million poly object? Isn't possible to incorporate trees on terrain like they were part of terrain to use same computer resources?

Quirk, just finished first mission with two mates. Wow, great mission! Great improvement over your last campaign. A briefing as I like, very complete and organized but fast reader. Great mission dynamic and the payload :thumbup:. I can't remember nothing to improve it. -

Finaly I've finished this campaign. Overall, a very nice campaign with a good balance between realism and fun. I just have a couple of things I would like to be finetuned for next missions. -More real payload. -Increase distance from base to target. In this campaign, engagement zone is almost within airbase flight patern. This is a bit to much, I think. -Payload better suited for missions. Having clusters on last mission for urban environment doesn't feel right. -Corrected orders from Jtac. Asking two full load Hogs to do a cannon pass on targets with a lot of Sams and heavy tanks is asking for trouble. As I said, this little adjustments don't reflect the quality of this missions and everything else is spot on. Even payloads on this missions are much better than the vast majority of missions find here. The fun that I had doing this campaign with a couple of friends will make me come back later and redo in a few months. Thx and I hope more like this. Alexandre -

Finished second mission and again everything went ok. I added another A-10 so another mate could join but I removed 2 Mavs on each plane to balance things. Quirk, at least on MP missions don't add more Mavs. Not only is an unreal payload but also spoils us on weapons usage. Unfortunatly real payload doesn't seem to be a main concern to mission builders and its very common to see online people dropping bombs and using Mavs on targets that are completly inadequate to them with no care to weapons manage. Real payloads not only are more fun and challenging but also makes us better pilots and on majority of times is more than enough to get the job done if proper used. -

Quirk, Today I finished first mission and now everything went ok. Very fine mission. Feedbak: -We had to destroy both infantry and shilka to have a "clear to RTB" from JTAC. If our task was to destroy only infantry, I think that killing Shilka shouldn't be a goal to have a complete task. -I think that instead of killing every infantry to complete task, a percentage number (this could be done in mission editor) is preferable. Everything but this was spot on. Tomorrow mission 2 is awaiting for us. :smilewink: -

Hi quirk! Just tried your first MP mission with a friend and after three runs over flight route, Jtac was keep saying " no further tasks...etc" and we ended RTB with full payload. I downloaded your 2nd zip file (v1 MP) and put entire Mod folder on my DCS mais folder. ex: C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World\Mods I don't have any mod on my DCS neither any mods folder. Did anyone more experience this? -
Quax, just left your server 5 minutes ago. I've destroyed 2 ships, both with one mk-82 (CCIP). First ship: No problem Second ship: Game crash (conection failure). Both of this ships were cargo. Game version: last public one. Another player had destroyed a first ship before me with a Mav and had lost conection also. Thx, Alexandre

Bactria is one of my favourites too. When I play it with my mates and we decide to employ guns against infantry we can usually kill more than 20 each so I guess you just have to train your aim. And we come RTB always with some shells left. 3 to 4 kills are done with one single pass and if they are lined this number is much higher. Sorry, but GAU-8 has no problem in this game.

JaseGill, as a FSX fan I learned that the right and balanced ingame and GPU settings gives you much better performance than just upgrade your hardware. There are settings that give you night and day visual diferences and others thar are almost imperceptible. I was reading your post about your 660Ti and 670 and if your lower your AA settings from 16x to 4x and your scenes from high to medium you'd save yourself almost 100£ with almost the same visual quality. And unless you play DCS: CA, lowering your clutter/bushes to 100m would also gives you smoother gameplay on low altitude pass which is important on A10 or BS. Other tune that I get used and save me a real bunch of FPS is to use nvidia inspector and a personal profile for each game. There are some settings that can get you some performance without loss of visual quality and some times evem performance increase. Understand that I'm not saying that a mid range GPU is as good as a topline but 660 is good enough to a dual monitor for sure. As I said I'm using 3286*1080 with a 560Ti 2GB and having above constant 30FPS almost everytime. Night and day, clear and overcast, with or without explosions (but clusters). I don't have everything maxed up but my DCS looks as good as any video that I see on Youtube which is enough for me.

I really don't get this obsession with this top cards and multi monitors setup. I have a GTX560 (normal, not Ti) with 2GB and 2 monitors, window mode with export gauges setup and have a smooth gameplay with settings near max. The new 660 is at least as good as older 570 and I'm 100% sure it can handle a two monitor setup without any problem. Even a 3GB 660Ti is more than enough to run a triple monitor setup.

Can someone that still play 1.1.1.1 please upload the file 'ukrytie.edm'? This file was replaced in recent versions by a bigger one with slower FPS. Thx

Does anyone still have this old model that can upload? Although my fps are fine enough, loosing a few of them to something that I even notice is not my way.

XXJohnxx or anybody else. If you want help you have to show us your sytem and game and GPU drivers settings.
