  1. You have to put textures on "high". It has nothing to do with other settings. On some planes their cockpit textures aren't linked to "textures" setting but with A10 and Huey you can't have lower that setting.
  2. This is amazing. Can this MOD be used online, on coops missions? Assuming that everybody has this mod? Thanks and keep the good work.
  3. In some aircrafts like Mirage and Mig21, cockpit textures are detached from this setting so we know its doable. With current engine this is a must and could be an easy way to find some smooth playing for non High-end computers. Lets hope ED give this option some attention.
  4. I don't have the knowledge to say that current sitck response is 100% correct but I'm sure its much more similar to real one than what we use to have. If you watch youtube videos from onboard real fighters you can see that pilots have to do large movements even for small corrections. Not only in Mirage but on general fighters. Cameras from landings, refuel and even acrobatic flight where you have to keep a dead steady plane, joystics are all around. This is very important to manage very small corrections. Before this patch even with 1mm movement, plane react with a very pronounce responce. And unfortunatly not only in this module but on some others. Sorry, but this is a gamey behave and not real at all. In simracing, a few years ago everybody experienced a similar problem. Steering wheels use to have only 270º from lock to lock and everybody was used to drive with very small movements. And when modern steering wheels with 900º and 1080º of steering lock start to apear we had to get used to a much bigger angle of movement to drive the same way, like real cars and I know a lot of very ggod simdrivers that took months to feel natural with that but now everybody drives like that, like reality. I just hope that with current finetuning this new pitch change don't revert to old one. Try to refuel and see how much easier is know.
  5. Yes, to me this is one of most notice improvements over last FM. On previous model, even a very small imput on joystick would give a very pronounce response on aircraft. I have a column joystick with similar lenght as real one from mirage and I had to have a custom curve to deal with this. Right know I have no curve on pitch axis amd it feels much more natural . Its much more like as real planes, at least from where I pick from youtube videos. And on top of that is much much easier to refuel and do precise flight.
  6. Hi, is it possible to set a flag when an AI plane is locked by someone? I want to create a coop mission where we are suposed to escort a civil flight and I want the interseptors to runway after they are being locked. I create a trigger action on these interseptors to swich waypoint to final landing waypoint (landing) so they RTB but I don't know how to trigger it. Thanks.

In Mirage2000 -Afterburner effect is on and strong on engine idle and during low revs. Then it stops and then is on again with airplane afterburner On (as it should be). -Theres no engine rumble (verified with log) -Theres no canopy effect. In A10 the same canopy and flaps problem already reported. These problems were tested on friday. I'll test again today to check if they are still present and I'll report. Everything else feels amazing. Thanks for your effort on this amazing software.

    That button with a cap is not to deploy. Is to release it from plane after been deployed. To deploy chute you have to use button 30 in this image.
  9. Hi, I'm using Simshaker for aviators, latest stable release and with Mirage2000 I don't get some of major efects like engine rumble, afterburner, ground bumps and roll. I'm I missing something? With Mig21, a few months ago, before engine rumble I had a very distinctive afterburner effect. Now I don't have nothing. Just normal rumble from engine. I already tried to increase volume of these effects and nothing. Any help? Thanks and grats for such a nice software.
  10. This has nothing to do with holding the button or high Gs maneuvers. Its a malfuction. Whatever is a bug or anything else I don't know. In Nevada, this bug is happening to me and my friend. In 1.5.7 is only happening to him and to me just occasionaly. When it doesn't work, its the same with holding the button or just press and release. Nothing works. When it works ok, it works with simple short press. No need to hold the button. And we already tried just after a very smooth takeof, so no hard Gs. We both always start our flight from ramp cold and we always do the same startup precedure. I just tested online but if I remember, tomorrow I'll tryit offline. I'll see if I have multiple imputs assign to it. I already tried different quantities of flares/shaffs and I can't correlate it to the "bug".

  12. Thank you, doodenkoff. It was it. I was checking line-of-sight from map view but when I watched from F7, I notice there was an high ground between units that was blocking their line-of-sight. Changed their position and now it seems ok. fefifofum, I thought about that but this was at mid-day. But thanks anyway.
  13. Grimes, I understand that problem but at least in Creech, wich I know better, I think there are ways to overcome this. Here are a couple of pictures with static objects showing a couple of slots where C130 size planes can park and taxi and one individual slot where any plane DCS has, can park. I'm sure you understand that from a mission building prespective this is a very restrictive issue. Even a couple of slots would make a big diference since we can make big planes to land and park. Thanks for your attention.
  14. Hi, I want to create an urban combat environment with infantry and light armored vehicles from both sides but I can't get them to engange each other. I place them around 500m away. I tried adding ROE "weapons free" with no luck. I add a task for both to attack a point near each other and same, no fire. It doesn't have to be a very real environment. I just want some action to be seen from air and want it to keep going from entire mission or at least some triegger to accur. This is in Nevada and of course both groups are from enemy countries. Thanks for your help.
  15. This is Creech Air Force Base and I see there 5 C130 on runway and taxiway. I was asking for slot for planes smaller than these C130. Sad, very sad that instead of using these discutions to improve and listen the comunity, people with responsabilities around here adopt a confrontation attitude. Was never my intention to do so. Don't bother to answer. I'm out of this conversation.

SiThSpAwN, are you saying that B-52 werent meant to operate out of Tonopah or locations specified on F ramp at Nellis is the reason why there are so few med to big planes slots on Nevada map or is that just speculation? Are you serious about that Syria argument? Really? Don't get me wrong but I don't get why everytime someones points something that is not right theres allways an excuse. There's something to be finished here and thats it. No need to find justifications out of the blue. Exorcet, we all know what is alpha. As I said I total understand that a lot of these features take time, a lot of time to be implemented. But this isn't a feature that is not yet implemented. Its something that was started and left half finished and on halt. And like so many important features is in an unfinished state for years while the same feature is implemented on other projects so there's not even the excuse of diferent guys to diferent features. Imagine that I'm a constructor and that you ordered me an house. I started your house and when I started to paint, I left most walls half painted. And then evertime you point me about this, I answer that this is still WIP. And then I move to other areas like roof, floor, etc, and walls were still left half painted. And after a few months I start doing other houses to other clients and your walls and olmost everything else was left half finished and everytime you asked me about it my answer was that I was still working on your hous and that it wasn't yet finished. Does this resemble you something around here? We all know what alpha means when we payed for this. But at least me was convinced that ED would do what they could to deliver me a finished product as soon as they can. I just want to highlight that I'm not one of those guys that come here just to whine. I really love DCS and keep flying and although I don't come here very often, I try averytime to help and be constructive in my posts, but this dishonest way of doing things have made a lot of people to leave DCS for good. Most of my friends have abandoned DCS and its a shame to see this. What is revolting is that it's not because they don't know how to do things.
  17. I've notice this aswel. I'm creating a syrian Campaign using Nevada and I'm using Creech as Khmeimim Airbase. I can't even create an incoming flight of An-26 because when they land, they sudenly disapear at the end of runway for not having parking slots to their size. Of course, starting med to big planes from parking area is out of question aswel. I just hope ED improves this briefly. It doesn't look like an hard job and could help to missions. There's a lot of parking spaces on every base that simply aren't assign to parking slots. Like so many features, it seems an half finished job. I can understand the difficulty of implementing new features, but this kind of unfinished ones is hard to understand.
  18. Two questions: -What about AA in this new render engine? Are there any good news already about its progress? Right now, with Nevada, we have no AA with ugly jagged lines and playable FPS or nice visuals but umplayable stutters. -The area covered by new Caucasus is the same as before? We now know why is Crimea out of question, but what about south, Turkey. A couple of bases there would bring a new level to this scenario.
  19. Thanks again mvsgas. I run your mission on my computer and everything went ok. I have everything set as you have so I tried diferent target units and diferent time of attack. SOLVED**************** I had my attack hour at 7.00 a.m. which is a few minutes before sunrise, so less light. When I changed to 8.00 a.m., they performed the attack without any problem. Thanks again.
  20. Sure. Thanks alot for your help. The group is "Su-25 test flight". This is a group already on target area so I can test and understand how they perform their attack without have to wait the whole flight to be done. On final mission, this group is going be deleted.   21. Thank's mvsgas. Unfortunatly I forgot to say that this happen on Nevada map. I watched your mission anyway and I can confirm that I had already done the same setup that you did. Only AI skill was on high and distance from attack point to target was way shorter on my mission. I changed these parameters to same as your mission (AI skill to excellent and 14km to target) and they still refuse to attack. Could this be a DCS 2.* bug? With bombs, they perform the attack without problem.
  22. No matter what I do, I simple can't put Su-25 AIs to attack a couple of ural truck with rockets. And urals, don't attack Su-25 either. Su-25 are 2000m high. Can someone help me?
