  1. when it says it stopped working, extend the window, and post what .dll file is causing the issue.
  2. do a DCS repair thing, that will likely fix the problem.
  3. it works more intuitively if you are used to it, for me its more intuitive to click the trimmer.
  4. BBQ could you please watch this track and see if its the trim problem is the same as yours. BS2Trim.trk
  5. im sorry guys, but did anyone actually read this part? if i want to run the ram in dual channel it needs to be in ram slots 1 or 3, or 2 or 4, but whenever i put anything in ram slot 1 or 2, even if its only one ram stick in the computer, it keeps boot looping. I dont have uefi, and if the issue was a thermal stop, how come it boots up fine if i put my ram in ports 3 and 4, but not any combination involving ports 1 and 2. it halts right before posting. Also if anything about 1333mhz is over clocked why would manufactureres list ram that is higher than that as compatible with the motherboard? http://www.corsair.com/us/learn_n_explore/
  6. have fun with the current netcode, anything above 16 players and you start getting into some major issues especially if its a ground heavy mission, on top of that the missiles are crap.
  7. it is different in BS1, you can put the stick where you want press the trim button and it will stay like that, ive tested it, since i still have BS1 installed. and dont Russian pilots fly helicopters by click spamming the trim button? i can provide a track from BS1, youll see that it is clearly different, its most obvious when you pitch, put it at 10 degrees, press trim and the BS1 will stay at 10 degrees pitch the BS2 will go to 15 or 20.
  8. thank you davis, it is indeed what i am talking about, the combination of the virtual stick and auto pilots is causing it to over trim, the worst thing is, is when you move your stick slightly forward and instead of pitching down the helicopter pitches up. even if you return your stick to zero, before the trim kicks in, or if you use central trimmer, this will happen. the best example is, if you trim at 10 degrees pitch down, youll find your self at 15 or 20 degrees pitch down, same happens with banking. you can no longer fly the BS2 by click spamming the trim button, because youll soon find your self upside down.
  9. now if only the over trimming would go away, and be nice and wonderful like BS1 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H0lj8HNrxKE
  10. I replaced my CPU cooler today, and afterwards, my PC would no longer start up, it started going into a boot loop, where it turns on stays on for 5 seconds and then turns off, and continues to do so, it does not post. i figured out that having a ram stick in the 1st or 2nd slot causes this, the interesting thing is, it was not a problem until i replaced my CPU cooler. i also tried resetting the bios, but it didnt work, after that i tried updating them to the newest version, im thinking its some kind of compatibility issue with the ram, since i had problems in the past where it would under clock it self to 1333mhz, or would cause a 2x boot loop, and then it would boot normally. GPU: GTX570 x2 Mobo: Gigabyte Z68X-UD5-B3 CPU: Intel Core i7-2600k RAM: 8GB DDR3- Corsair Vengeance 1600mhz (CMZ8GX3M2A1600C9) PSU: 700W Cooler Master Silent Pro Gold OS:Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit
  11. it does, but not to such extremes, where moving it a bit changes the range 2 or more KM since the patch notes didnt mention it, its a bug, until someone says something about it.
  12. well it wont be like that for sure, itll be more like hitting a building or bumping it, depending your speed, since the damage model is already millenia ahead of whatever arma has.
  13. you can actually engage it ant any speed, itll help you get into a hover faster.
  14. So yesterday i discovered that a commander cant control the m60a3, and you cant get into it in first person. is there a way to get this working, or do we have to wait for ED to fix it?

    GTA 5

it says 18+ on the box, its not meant for kids, if you are afraid of your kids being exposed to it, dont buy them the game. In my opinion, games that and realistic depiction of real life combat, like arma ace or project reality, even DCS (not call of duty and battlefield) are much more dangerous toward kids than something like GTA, and aggression in kids comes from the difficulty of the game, a difficult game will make you frustrated i.e. aggressive, and it can even be a game that is rated 3+ . The subject needs a lot of studies, but unfortunately there arent any serious ones happening.
  16. The problem with TARS is that it has no overlay, so using it for FC3 aircraft is horrible, you can only have 3 radio channels and thats it, which is a pretty big problem, and the fact that you cant hear people that arent in an aircraft, that means you need to alt tab and turn off tars (at which point DCS will either freeze, or the server will disconnect you) just to help someone that is having troubles with it.
  17. I never thought the Ka-50 could do a loopty loop IRL but there apparently it can.
  18. I love these threads, theres this sense of (i dont know the word for it), that if i payed for something, no one else should pay less for it. So what would have happened if it was 14 months later, but you bought it a day before the product went on sale would you still winge about it?
  19. THE TREES!!! they have 3 dimensions. also the water looks pretty mazing
  20. The BS1 trim and BS2 trim are completely different, the BS1 trim is much easier control and you can click spam the trim (like russian pilots do) while moving your joystick without fear of loosing control, do that in BS2 and youll be soon be upside down and heading toward the ground. even when your joystick is centered in the BS2 and you press trim itll pitch up or down, and bank left or right on its own, this doesnt happen in the BS1
  21. I also noticed that running the teamspeak hotkey setting in default mode causes a lot of problems with the joystick, switching it to direct input mode seems to fix it, so you could try doing that if you had teamspeak running while taking the video. Settings>Options>Hotkeys>little dropdown menu in the lower right corner.
  22. I had the same problem, but with BS2 upgrade, i fixed it by doing the following. Go Start>Run, type in regedit>HKEY_CURRENT_USER>Software>Eagle Dynamics>Black Shark 2>Keys Here you will find a Licenses entry or multiple license entries, delete all of them, after that go and start DCS run Ka-50 so the registration thing pops up, and enter your key again. you can also goEagle Dynamics\DCS World\Mods\aircrafts\Ka-50\bin and run the protect.exe to start the DRM program, then do what it asks you to do.
