ahhhhh, I am still getting some weard grafix residue "Yellow-runways" and a weard visual glitch when Lock-On loads from the first screen-a visual "Blip" I used a regestry cleaner but perhaps I did not get all of the "Western-style runways" out. Also how can I have MOD Man 5 locate all of the MODs in lock on from my previous Add ons. After I un-installed MOD man 5 and 6, how do I get MOD man 5 to "SEE" all of the other Mods I have put in my files? :helpsmilie:

Hi Im still having issues with instaltion of Mod Guy 6. I also tried the Western Stylish runways; I got strange greens and browns at the far end of the runn way like a merage. I deleted the file from Mod man 5 but there is residual effects like the merage but much less intence at the same ends of the runway; on final apporoch to runway. :helpsmilie:

Patch 1.13 Requested Features/Fixes List (*Merged)
cool_t replied to Colt40Five's topic in Lock On: Flaming Cliffs 1 & 2
:) Missile evasion is not fun. What ever happend to exploding war heads and fragmentation missile warheads, also proximity fuzes? Also it would be nice to get glare off jets way off in the distancs due to the sun rays. Also the Mach 1 + shock wave. -
Right! Well one thing forsure is that LOMAC does not take into the "FACT" that if your F-15c is going "Mach 1.1" At sea level flying past the "Igla" Dude, your Jet Shock Wave would Render Him Useless. So I propose, nial It with your Cannons. Glendesik has many Good Targets on RAF server.

Ahhhhhhhhhhh, I had bad luck with New MoD MAN, Sorry About the Kinda Re_Post Kinda But Mod man Loaded Bad. Do not Use It Right Now, wait untill it gets going better. Sorry Guys,

Right Well, Forinstance like the ET, stinger, avenger, and R-73, ect. There is realy no way of telling where or when they are being shot at you. There has got to be some sort of countermeasure other than Flares. Flares give away your posistion in BVR, and they also give away your posistion in a close fight. There have been hundreds of times where I lost lock on a bandit and a visual where flares gave away there direction. As far as Low flying SEAD-CAS air-craft like the KA-50, A-10, AH-64, SU-25, one would think that IR detection and defence would be the "Norm" IN LOMAC there is a IR JAMMER for the SU-25 right (Shift-E) if im not mistakin. :joystick:

look here i guess Here is somthing I found. http://www.aerospaceweb.org/question/electronics/q0191.shtml

Other than flares, we all know to well of the deadly IR missiles and how hard it is to know that your being tracked by one. So far there is only a visual cue that an IR missile is targeting you. My first question is "Is there some sort of sencor that can see a heat source or a phaze array radar that can track any type of incoming projectile?" Second will there be an IR Jammer in the KA-50? Also check this Vid out this shot is too close for comfort! http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=95e_1199400025 :joystick:

What interest you most, A-A or A-G missions?
cool_t replied to Legolasindar's topic in DCS: Ka-50 Black Shark
SEAD A-10 and SU-25 Well as far as SAMs fireing too early sure and SAMs Radar always on sure. But a realy good Mission maker will set SAMs in a "Trap Zone", setting SAMs behind terrain, buildings, or turn some radars faceing in different directions. Ambush SAM sites have been used in the 169th for a long time now, where the Radar cannot bee seen at all and then once you have flown near the Missile site it fires on you. It would be nice to see some "LIVE" ground SAM controls or somthing. Where designated persons would be incharge of AAA, SAMs, and moving moble sites, ect, ect. We realy need AAA Flack guns as well, the EF2000 by DID had that. :pilotfly: -

Another thought Im sure that there is some sort of Drug or Air Gas Mixture that alows O2 to stay in your system longer? :dunno:
-
Right, But just as the "SIM SIMULATES" an "EKG" can "SIMULATE" the centrifuge; a step closer to a "MEGA SIM". One could translate into code where your "Individual" EKG reading would translate in "Centrifuge" testing and "G" tolerance. Just think, in real combat if all jets would only alow pilots to pull 8.5 Gs' for 5 seconds reguardles of a pilots experince, cardiovascular health, situational multitasking capabilities, and the ability to pull far more Gs' than the aircraft would alow the pilot to endure. Surely I could not see any Government signing a contract from a suplier where "Tecnology" is less capable than the Human interface role in combat. Look at how far Flight Sims have come from the Comidor 64 to Tracker IR, im sure that we will see new an inovative soft-hardware in the years to come. Sitting at the PC and a LCD or Projection screen will be a thing of the past in the future. :music_whistling:

There is allways the "As above so below" logicality in all walks of life. But an "EKG" reading you can get at your local hospital. Also this type of "Marketing: would promote "GOOD HEALTH" and physical awearness. GG I would bet you $1.00 that If some SIM came out with this option it would corner the market and be all over the news! :joystick:
-
Nice! Thanks guys!
-
Well ofcourse in the sim we all are regulated by the sim "G" limit programing. "G" tolerance is all about your cardiovascular system, systematic multitasking, and your ability to no not freak out in combat under "G" influence. For instance a guy or girl that bikes 20 miles a day compared to some one who loafs on the couch will "G-LOCK" much later than couch loaf. Also genetic make up and "What you were born with" have alot to do with how long and how fast you can turn in any high G moves. It would be a strange marketing gesture and a uniqe tool in a flight SIM to have all of us do an "EKG" and relate our individual results to represent our individual "G-Tolerances". That would make HUGE NEWS in the Gaming market and in the public eye in general, then in turn sales and product awerness would SKYROCKET. :joystick:
