Just remember your radar is a "Cone" and what your altitude designator says is not always true. There is alot of space inbetween the scanning zones so watch when you get a radar reflection and remember where you are scanning. You can get tecnical with explanations but the best way to figure out the F-15 Radar is tons of practice. If one is a good radar operator you can "Fool" your bandit into thinking that your radar transmission is comming from a different location. :smilewink: One of the hardest searches in the F-15c radar is 90 degree bandit intercept. If you know a bandit is out there but his "Red/Blue shift" is spoofing your radar you will need to fly into a different intercept search pattern. The radar in the Eagle is the best in LOMAC reguardless of Russian Jets data-links, EOS, and there radar. If you can become good and fast with scanning it will give you the edge you need to shoot down good pilots that folow the same flight/intercept patterns. Remember your radar will give your posistion away, so use it wisely. Good luck! :thumbup:

I think the general comunity would like Tac-View off. There are still hundreds of people who have not voted yet. Also I think some people would like more time with Tac-View off. I feel that rotation of Tac-View might be a good solution. :noexpression:

99.99%? Maby you should fly trail with me(Pilo and me did some realy cool moves a few times and blinded the Miglets with deception). Obviously you have not been in RAF, 104th, and 169th, much 2 c how many times Ive landed the jet after killing "AWACS". Here do this like 20 times and land your jet, fly in a server that has 20 to 40 players, find the "Gap" kill the "AWACS" zero in on the SA-11, gun it, kill it, land the jet, then move on to secondary targets. You see the whole thing about "Suicidal" thing is that when you PRACTICE it-you perfect it. So your "Virtual life" becomes perfected. Your good-as many others, but you need to break out of your shell and get "Suicidal" to see how you can multitask in every engagement. The whole shoot and run thing is for the birds and will not help in "Server competitions" its just deterent fighting and will get you a kill here and there. Go in for the kill, "Tally your bandit" with out radar and sucker his buds in for a waxing and watch your potential energy. The jets in here are very loose and some perform better in different engagements. Seriously try to out fly your bandit instead of waiting 4 a running kill. You will become more dangerous. P.S. I dont kill "Awacs" any more its 2 hard ;). The 104th has a good SAM WEZ. Try it out then get back to us.

Ok, so you do feel a bit the way I do about Tac-View and just as alot of other people, thats a start. As far as my TACTICS go, (and I wont get personal because I folow rules) You should get in a F-15c with me and trail, you will learn alot. Obviously its seems that I need to turn the heat up again and quit spanking arround close to the ground. Please by all means join us on line reguardless of how dumb or how elementry my tactics are or how you think I am. Ill give you even more of an advantage ILL NEVER SHOOT DOWN an A-50 or AWAX in any server im in.

Ok, how do you know? How does anyone know if anybody was using Tac-View as a cheat? We dont, right? Its all just speculation and he said she said deal. Realy ask your self "Do you think that with even the posibility that one can use Tac-View as a cheat" and there is "No way to prove it" should it be baned from high profile servers? If I was an owner of a server I would not even take that risk. :thumbup:

There have been many acusations of using Tac-View, I just started a post about it. Mind you this is the first time I have addressed the TAC-VIEW issues publicaly. Frost1e I am far from paranoid, im just interested in finding out about how the comunity thinks about Tac-View. Again, 169th today killed 1, then 2 in TWS from 41,000ft 1.2 Mach. I didnt even get a spike. 3 & 0 + 7 & 0, and they were way above average pilots. :)
