I wasn't aware of this, flaps up lock button pressed does the job nicely - thanks for letting me know :joystick: Curious though, does anyone know if this is how it works IRL?
-
So I've flown the entire route, stuck to the waypoints and destroyed the enemy chopper, escorted both Meatboy 1 and the CH-47 all the way back to base but for some reason they don't want to land, think I may have missed a trigger somewhere but can't work out where - as much as it's a nice flight through the mountains it's becoming a bit of a pain having tried 3 times now, any suggestions where I'm going wrong and/or has anyone completed it?

Can we revert the hi/lo setting back to how it used to work please, I really liked how the flaps up was hi gain and flaps down was low, worked well and saved me having to map another button on my HOTAS (I've run out of buttons!) - super thanks PS: Love what you've done with the MiG29, considering its not a super high fidelity flight model it does feel bloody good to fly :pilotfly:

Bomb drop logic seems a little odd, not sure if its supposed to but one press of the pickle button releases all bombs from the same rack (FAB-100 & 250*6) , can't drop single and the salvo button just didn't help either - irl is the jet capable of a selectable salvo size? Also the twin rockets pods jettison sequence is wrong, had 4 empty pods to drop and attempted to do so when I was jumped by an enemy fighter leaving the target area, it choose to drop my R-73's before the empty pods which left me up sh*t creak without a paddle!

Ramsay / Lobo, I tip my hat to you guys - your posts worked a charm and its such an easy fix once you know what to do, I thank you both. This sort of thing makes me wonder why a quick fix wasn't issued by Razbam in the weeks following its initial release, I know they're super busy doing other stuff but its bad practice to release something that doesn't work, its also super frustrating when you learn how easy a fix would have been for them to issue - I'm sure there are other factors at play and I've probably over-simplified the issue but this sort of thing totally grinds my gears. Rant over - love you really Razbam Xx

Razbam have recently included an English cockpit which I believe pays homage to Gospadin's previous version, you get the option to select an English pit within the options but for whatever reason its not working as it should. I read somewhere that Razbam were aware of the problem and that it was being looked at - though that was weeks now and wasn't from an official source :( Who knows what's going on with it..

I care about the English cockpit but run the stable version of DCS so will need to wait until next week, can anyone confirm if its working in the OB please - thanks
-
I didn’t realise that, thanks for clarifying - love the Mirage but have lousy language skills!
-
Hey Zeus67, the above quote was taken from an update posted November last year - whats the story with an English cockpit please?
-
Bump already please, we need an English cockpit, the fine work by gospadin (rip) no longer works and my language skills stink - help us RAZBAM please xx
-
Whats the latest with the tv ir fix please guys, is there a fix we can do ourselfs or do we have to wait for ED to include it within the next update?
-
How was it this year and did the f35 put on a full disply?
-
This feature has to be in the post, its too good an effect!
-
Can’t progess the campaign without, desperate for some all seeing night vision!
-
Should we have had this feature included within the latest release version update? Ps my god how good is the new map and hornet, good work ED

Ok so the problem looks to be connected with the game being in windowed mode, reverting back to full screen has completely sorted all fps issues including the stutters i had, its like a new game the diffence is really that huge. My apologies for posting this in the Campaign section for the Mirage, clearly it belongs in elsewhere - onto the final mission I go 07
-
So I gave that Piecing Fury mission a try and it was super smooth / really decent performance that i was happy with, i then went gack to mission 11 again to compare the 2 and it was also super butter smooth with no stutters whatsoever - the 2 ship su25’s took off followed by a pair a Mirage’s and even the mi-8 flying over did so completely smooth no jerkiness at all! I can’t explain why, even the taxi roll out ‘felt’ much better. Gonna test some more and try and work out whats going on - thanks all
-
I don’t think the mission is faulty, far from it, just that my pc which is fairly decent spec yet seemed to have a real hard time running it smoothly - as simgle player missions go this campaign has been amazing but has highlighted some issues i’ve never really had before and i’m keen to address the issue - is Ranger 79’s A-10C Piercing Fury a good mission to ‘benchmark’ performnce?
-
Love the campaign but the fps took a huge hit on mission 11, start up, taxi and take off my frames drop considerably, get in the air and everything is completely fine - is this missions a heavy hitter in terms of horse power needed to run smoothly? Granted there is a lot of stuff going on but i sometimes get the feeling that the m2000 is a resource hungry jet, more so than say the av8-b - anyone else notice a drop in perfemance?

Full screen multi-monitor support
Dr Zaius replied to Dr Zaius's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
I didn’t think this possible, are you absolutely sure its in full screen mode? A good way to tell is by turning the windows sound level up, you don’t get the little graphical icon when in full screen mode. -
Full screen multi-monitor support

I think i’ve sussed the performnce issue, roll nvidia drivers back to 388.71 turn off vsync ingame but enable gsync for windowed and full screen within the nvidia control panel - super smooth with minimal stutters! Give it a try guys -
I've a secondary monitor (Eyoyo 12 inch HD 1920x1080) I've been using to output MFD's to, I attached TM Cougars to the screen and love using this setup but have recently encountered some serious poor performance whilst flying the M2000 campaign. These performance issues (poor fame rates and bad stutters) completely fixes itself when in full screen mode so much so that going back to multi-monitor is no longer an option for me - before I unplug the screen for good I'd like to confirm if it's somehow possible run DCS with an extended display via Win10 without the need to run the game in windowed mode? Thanks in advance

Super happy these forums are so helpful, I've just played mission 3 in the Red Flag campaign and was encountering some serious frame rate issues - PC spec is decent (4600MHz cpu, 32 gigs of ram, 1080ti & SSD) and it's the first time I've had performance drop off that bad, its good to see that its a known issue and that Heatblur are on the case as I absolutely adore this module - big thanks to Cobra847 and the team who respond so quickly to problems like this.
