  1. The name is interesting, but no less; thank you for the announcement!
  2. It's far from the first time they've tried to kick out the A-10. Wouldn't surprise many if they did another 180 on the decision EDIT: Thread was merged after posting.
  3. The path is mostly correct. Try: %username%\Saved Games\DCS\Config\Input I recommend you copy the directory elsewhere as a back up just in case, alternatively you could rename the "Input" folder itself to something else (like "InputBackup"), achieving a similar result. You could also erase the folder(s) inside the Input folder that are relevant to the specific aircraft you want a new profile for. DCS will automatically create the missing profiles for you.
  4. Hello. This is my second map submission. I've based it off of the instant action mission "Ground Attack - Easy" for the Hueys (do note the difficulty is significantly stepped up). I've made this one more straight forward than my last monstrosity, I hope you enjoy the slaughterfest. Roles: CAS, JTAC Aircraft: UH-1H (x2) Players: 2 Difficulty options: One difficulty only Spawning: Static Please be sure to give feedback. Cheers! :smilewink: [Sephki] [2P] Huey Gauntlet.miz
  5. Certainly. You can transfer a serial key to another account via the main website after you have logged in. This thread should help you should you decide to go through with it.
  6. You're playing a simulator, after all. DCS is not necessarily what most would consider a game. It closely follows real life standards and specifications; you're learning it similarly as you would in a real A-10. Fortunately, ED offers the Flaming Cliffs series and stand-alone modules which do not go into such details. I highly recommend you the Su-25 or A-10A module instead of the A-10C if all of what you've seen so far is too much effort. Alternatively you can go into Options -> Gameplay and set Game Presets, but I personally don't recommend doing so when given the option of picking up a Flaming Cliffs module.
  7. Ah, thank you very much cichlidfan.
  8. So, like a few others we were under the impression that beta modules would no longer be a part of sales. I certainly support ED and partner products, so I would like some clarification as I'm not sure if I missed the memo. I lodged a ticket requesting a partial refund and got a response from Wags saying "Sorry that is not possible" which is fine with me. I also have noticed the thread URL regarding Wags' original statement about future products has been removed. Can someone provide a clarification for us, will beta products continue to be included in specials in the future? Cheers.
  9. Greetings! This is my first map submission at the request of one of the gents I fly with. I've been writing this map on and off for over a year now, trying various different things. We feel the balance is right but there are likely some rough edges to be corrected still, so please forgive me for any bugs or bad balance you may encounter and do report them so that I can correct them for you and everyone else. Sortie: Assault the Docks Version: 3.0.1a Roles: A-10C Players: 1 to 8 (scaling in difficulty per player) Objective: Search and Destroy Difficulty Selection: Casual / Normal(Default) / Hard / Impossible Spawning: Group Randomized This mission takes place in the afternoon between the Sochi-Adler and Pitsunda region, where an insurgent outpost has been sighted along the coast with a hostile frigate enroute to collect something of great importance. You must scramble and destroy all transports before the frigate gets there. You may choose your difficulty at the beginning of the mission which will define how much time you have to complete your primary task. There are multiple ways of going about the mission, from zerging the transports to dealing with air defenses first, as well as your selection of weapons. Pushing for higher difficulties will also affect your plans. Do note that positions are extremely likely to change with each play through, as spawn groups are randomly chosen from a spawn table. You may end up with more or less ground forces as well as different types of units. Final note, I hope I didn't go too overboard and that you'll enjoy it. Please provide feedback and do note what difficulty and how many players you played with as I'd certainly love to improve my map more. :smilewink: [Sephki] [1-8P] Assault the Docks [3.0.1].miz
  10. With the upcoming AH-1G, already available Mi-8 and UH-1H.. #3 will pave the way for current and future multiseat vehicles. I'd be lying if I don't say that it is the number one future feature I'm holding out for. It would be exciting to see the people who aren't interested in flying aircraft jump aboard the DCS-train. Certainly itching to see it realized. ;)
  11. Great idea. Thank you. ;)
  12. Great news! I've loaded all of my keys except for Flaming Cliffs 3 and the UH-1H. I'd imagine the UH-1H is pending action from Belsimtek, is there an idea of what is happening with Flaming Cliffs 3? I gather it is being split apart right now which would seem to pose a dilemma for people migrating to Steam. Will the Flaming Cliffs 3 key eventually be usable to activate the split up Flaming Cliffs modules?
  13. Hello, a few requests. Ctrl-C / Ctrl-V support for trigger editor. Folders for trigger editor. (Folders elsewhere also welcome!) Trigger Action for repairing units. (Or respawning them) Pick a trigger action randomly from a list. Also, more of a bug fix request: Proper enumeration for parking spaces on the ramp, when copy&pasting aircraft. I have a minor issue where you need to select each unit individually and set them to "Take Off From Ramp" to be able to see parking spaces after pasting a copy of another ramp start aircraft. Hopefully not too much to ask, cheers for everything so far. :smilewink:
