  1. Any chance of getting a grease marker dot for aiming on the windscreen?
  2. Agreed. My only wish is that there would be a no doors option.
  3. Probably should put this in the bugs section, but I could never get the skids to go from "retracted" position in the cabin to a deployed state. I'll let my crew chief know. Also, it was like that when I got it. In order to unlock this special edition, you have to perform a konami code of sorts. 1 - Get overconfident in flight 2 - Get overly aggressive in approach 3 - Enter vortex ring state with -3 feet recovery altitude 4 - Retract skids 5 - Recover, not sure what to do now 6 - Take photos 7 - Land as softly as possible 8 - Hold cyclic as far as possible, don't want a rotor strike, do we? 9 - Yell at crew chief because the airbags didn't deploy, try to divert attention from missing essential components 10 - Take 2 hour "celebratory" lunch I like to keep my crew chief on his toes. Don't want him to get too much free time. Keeps the maintenance section from getting in trouble.
  4. One of the lucky few to get the Huey Special Edition, which, along with all the other stock Hueys, comes with the super-secret squirrel UH-1H RG. With it's sleek, RAM profile, it can't be matched on the battlefield. With avionics years ahead of it's time, the UH-1H RG's cockpit showcases advanced features, such as speed holes in the windscreen.
  5. Same here. No trouble when bound to the TM Warthog.
  6. Thanks much. Immediately after posting that, I opened up the control options, looking for something else, and accidently stumbled on it. I shall assume the stupid question sad face... As I understand right now, having the ai gunners fire is not implemented as of yet.
  7. I'm just curious how to even toggle the crew doors open.

    Battlefield 4

Not 100%, but maybe he was referring to this debacle last year. http://www.ign.com/articles/2012/09/11/staff-working-on-arma-3-arrested-for-spying
  9. Good work, ED.
  10. Same problem here, too. Trying to ween my buddy into DCS, tried hosting, but he keeps getting connection interrupted. Running same version, speed to LAN, hosting as a LAN, ports forwarded, removed tankers and JTACs from the mission; still no luck.
  11. I pray it's a 58D. "It is a single seat air frame that does have a copilot seat but very rarely utilized." I guess in terms of the sim, it would be. "So we are making it single only to speed up development time. Later on we plan to update her to take advantage of the second seat as a gunner role." If by 'gunner', you mean shooting out the door with an M4. "It is a muli-mission bird but does not have the legs or payload to fight very long." Full bladder, only like 2.5 hours of sustainability. Payload-wise, looking at only like 7 hydras and 350 .50 rounds. And that's without a full fuel load. Usually like 4 hydras. I know it's not going to be the Kiowa, but I'm gonna keep up the hope that it is.
