I ignored the second router and forwarded the port directly to my pc

It works with the repeater as well... Seems it was just the UDP Protocol what was missing. Thanks again and best regards :)

Thanks for all you answers, the situation is a little bit more complicated as I just realize now. I have a router set up which sends the signal via WLAN to another router, which operates as a repeater. To stay in that analogy with the streets: The Router can point to a house number which then contains the info where my house is. Unfortunately in that second router I cannot port forward again. So, right now the port is forwarded to my pc ip.... this ip is not directly connected to the main router. Only the repeater router is known to the main router. Should I point the ports to the second router... what will it then do with it. I will maybe just try out the different options. one thing I did not do the first time was setting udp protocol as well. Maybe thats just about it. I will let you guys know. Thanks again, also for improving my knowledge about networks and how ports work :)

Hey guys, I want to adress an issue I can not overcome recently. I wanted to fly a mission with a collegue and we set everything up with the mission file and the server started. Sadly, my collegue cannot see me :( Things I tried: Port forwarding with the router Deactivating Antivir / Firewall Connecting via IP (just a black screen). I am afraid no. I am starting to do my PhD on two-phase modeling so all I can offer is a fundamental basis. I did program a 2 dimensional Navier Stokes Solver in Matlab if that means sth. to you. Also I heard quite a few lectures about fluid dynamics. On my side I am willing to push into that flight model development world and see if my knowledge on fluid dynamics can be of help to the developers. Best regards, Manuel

Thanks for your answers infact it does not help anything at least as my test goes. I will test the free alternatives also. About the CPU overclock: I did also the 4.2 ghz automated setting from my asus board and it runs stable. I will play around with it for a while and see what I can get. Just getting started in this topic. Any of you guys think that a gpu upgrad would "definitely" help my fps go up or for that should I consider a total rebuilt (new mainboard with 2011-3, new cpu and so on) Thanks, Manuel

Hey, I just found a tool named cpucores on steam. http://store.steampowered.com/app/384300/#app_reviews_hash I will take a look at it if it can improve the fps performance of DCS when one/ or several cores are dedicated to the game. Hey guys, I have been wondering if my skills in modeling computational fluid dynamics in ansys fluent, star ccm+ and/or Openfoam could be of help to anybody here at the forum. I was just thinking, that those data in the game somehow have to be gathered and the way I think it could work is by simulating e.g. the drag / lift coefficient for different angles of a specified profile: What I am looking for: The guys programming e.g. third party applications may have interest in someone like me who does this stuff at work. I want to participate and spend my two cents in this development. My gain is to learn and deeper understand the physics behind the simulator / what is modeled, what is not and so on. What I offer: Well some skills in modeling cfd related analysis. If nobody is interested, I spent my free time otherwise but in case.... I would like to hear from you. Thanks and take care!

Hey guys, an idea came to me this night about coupling trackIR with some sort of 3D- Desktop Software. Unfortunately I could not find any software which does that, what I want to do. So maybe you could help me out. I want to look around and place more Document Files next to each other. I should be able to scroll all Docs (in Pdf reader) and to zoom into an specific part of the screen. There are 3D Desktops out there but I heard none of them which could work with Track IR. Alternatively I could think about using a 3D mouse for the 3D Desktop. Maybe that is even simpler than track IR but not as fast. If you know anything which could get me to this solution, please help me out! Thanks in advance... Manuel
