Hey guys, I will post the track here where I drop the bombs. I get around 10fps when watching the explosion with F6. By the way: When taking off I experience some drag. I know there are 11 m/s wind but that has nothing to do with wind anymore. Did that... with good results. But still get a drop to 12 fps. I think there is something wrong. I mean with my system I should geht 30fps shouldnt I? By the way: Samsung 830 SSD is installed and is used. So that can not be the matter.

Hey guys, just a quick problem, which I am trying to solve. If cluster bombs are dropped in FC3 my fps goes down to 5. And I can not understand how that is possibile with my system specs (see below). I have medium specs and one single monitor running on 1920 x 1080 Cheers

Yes, track IR is not the problem. That runs smootly as butter :D Well if I overclock my gpu to 2000mhz I get 30-40 fps but.... seriously... is this necessary on a gtx570?

Well, after all I am not so sure about the fps thing. Is 20 to few for my setup? How to improve? I have medium settings, one monitor 1920 x 1080, no OC on the video card.

Hello guys, I have the following problem with TrackIR 5: Its kind of laggy, but not because of the framerate which is decent on 20 and with numpad commands I can change my view fluently. TrackIr is sort of hacked frames, as if the frequency rate is to low and I don't know what to do. It is not like a dia show but it is slightly hacked... don't know how to describe this properly. System Specs are below. I upgraded to 16gb RAM and set all settings to medium and even low... problem was not solved that way. Any Ideas?

I can understand that point of WindWeapon, because online gaming takes time, more than you expect. Last time we wanted to just fly a little and take out some tanks.... well 4hours there you go. I mean, we should have both: Online expieriences (which btw has to be optimized quite a bit: Serverbrowser, filter options, sorting options etc.) and a campaign with turning points, decisions, story and so on (maybe developed by 3rd party). Any official statement on this?

Yes, Sir, you're right that it is kind of a propaganda material and also this typical documentary style which hunts climax after climax. But what's damn good about this video: The engineering part is so detailed and the systems are taught to the viewer in a understandable way and also you get some vocabulary. So if you can ignore some propaganda, it's worth seeing!

Ah, i remember that the tower was once saying 11m/s wind speed, thats around 40km/h. Well if you take that into account, it makes sense. But also the drag after the take off? I mean, it was within 0,5s 20° and it just seemed to us that it was nothing natural.

Hello there, yesterday I was flying with a comrade from the forum. We flew a mission with SU 33 and had to destroy a few tanks and beware of enemy pilots and so on. Two things we noticed: Speed indicator is completely drunk. Shows 50km/h standing still. Sometimes it shows 20km/h wenn driving minimum 50. It was not a wind issue. That was sure. Next thing was: As we took off, both of us where draged around 15-20° to the right. Instantly. Bug or wind issue? It was really fast and we did not encounter such things in the past. Another point was, that the side rudder reaction seemed WAY to fast. I mean I stood barely on the pedal and went 5° in the direction I intended. Is this normal? Sometimes, when taking off the wrong direction the plane chrashed just after take off. This was also a bit strange. When landing, we twice had the problem that we had an engine fire, but no indication of a damage outside nor did we have a reason for that (was a soft landing). Hope this helps! We did fly for about 3,5 hours and fortot to save the track :doh::((( Sorry guys. But maybe you have come across those issues too? Just wanna help!

Another suggestion: Make a video of your flight equipment. This would be great if you could share some profiles for your key mapping and so on and so on. why?: Because everyone who is watching you fly, wants to do the same and the first question how? would be partly answered by showing your stuff (monitor setup, joystick:joystick:, trackIR settings etc.) What do you think?

X52 for low budget TM Hotas A10 for the pro version....it's truely a question on how much you want to spend...so each can make their decision their own. Cheers
