I just loaded the version 2.0 of the jet pac.but all the mig textures are blotchy due to the 8 bit indexed bmps.Is the a 16 or 32 bit version of these textures?

well ,in that case(If I think what it is yer tryin to say),...then you simply make a bigger 3d world for arma.Like they did for opflash years ago.50k x50k I think it was?I recall having to fly for almost 15 to 20 mins to get to the other side on that puppy.

Well whataya know!!...that is EXACTLY what the problem was.I think, IMO, this should be sticky'd somewhere because I have NEVER had to do this with any programe before INCLUDING blackshark and Flamming cliffs.I also did not know that WIN7 does this on a per app basis.But it begs the question,why did I not have to do this with any other programes??

Trying to run the training missions is not going well as the narration is way too low ,engines are also half of what they should be as compared to flamming cliffs and blackshark.All sliders are set to max. Basically ,if I want to hear the narration at normal volume,I have to crank the volume knob to full.Making all other sound... ie... ts,msn, or windows sounds, loud enough to blow the speakers out.This is a new install of beta 4 on a partitioned drive without the 32 bit added files.Some other people I asked about this also experienced the same thing.Realtek onboard sound card is what I use,win7 64 bit OS. Like I mentioned above,blackshark and flammingcliffs all run normal ,as do all other programes.Anyone else noticeing the same issue?:huh: edit,opps title should read 64bit,messed up on the shift button.

Yup,that looks like the puppy,IT WAS REALLY EASY TO DO,if ya wanna know more go to toms hardware site and read up on it.Lots of people did it.BTW,I haven't overclocked it ,but most people that have done this cracked it up to 3.6 without any problems.Your call though.I prefer to not OC my stuff,but I just may reconsider it.:smartass:This "unlock" btw doubles its bench from about 1900 to 4000!!BTW whats your video card,if its an ATI 3450 series,you can actually slave it to the onboard in crossfire ,they call it hybrid crossfire,but it only works with the lower end cards.

Heres a tip I learned recently that will save you money if you upgrade. get a phenom x2 555,and a msi 785gt motherboard(I say this cause that what I used for a motherboard and it work without a hitch).By simply going into the cpu set up in your bios you can set the unlock cores feature and clock timing to auto and pooofff...you have a quad core cpu...at 3.2 ghz. If you then look at the computer properties,its now listed as a phenom x4 B55!!! not bad for a cheapy upgrade.AND it will take your older ram as well(if its DDR2,which I assume it is),so you won't need to buy more(unless ya want too) Runs BS just fine with all settings maxed in the battle mission which has ALOT going on.

This is vague,are you saying that there will be improvements to the ME in blackshark/fc2,in upcomming patches,or only to A-10 and "other" products...or both???

Yes,I had to recode the keyboard.lua for the thrust entry,haven't tried it since the last patch though

I think I know whats happening,the roland and gepard were set close together ,so I was probably locking the gepard when I though it was a roland,the chart in the doc's folder has the gepard in brackets at (12.5) which I assume means it can't be destroyed via the kh-58 or kh-25mpu due too its radar signature/frequences.But I'm guessing here.Seems to me that if I can lock it ,I should be able to kill it???But alot could have happened in the engagement that I never noticed,so who knows.

Anyone out there know why the kh-58 is blowing up soon after launch?I get the LA auth. and its tracking to target then all of a sudden it explodes in mid air.Happens after about 3-4 seconds comming off the rail.This is engageing a roland or gepard(I thought it was the geopard shooting it down,but don't really think it is),is it a bug?:huh:

In the A10,when ground stablized(or whatever you might call it)the cursor is not moving according to the key input.It tends to do a slight dog jaunt to either the top,bottom left or right depending on which way you slew it.It does this for about a half sec then stays on course.makes trying to track a target very difficult.I'm not the only one having this issue.Everyone in our flight of 4 had the same problem.Strange that this doesn't seem to have been mentioned yet on the forum?:joystick:Anyone else noticed this?And yes I am taking into account that the gyro is not stablized and rolls with the aircraft.This happens in stable level flight.:pilotfly:

Ummmm....is this a promo for a "new" product????Seems to imply so?

optics worked for me...was quite surprising,it even locked automatically as if it had contrast regognition....as for the photo marks ,I was refering to the ingame shot of the mig,it represents a prototype due to the markings.(possibly due to the new tailhook or IFR?)Also,where can we get the mig29 K model?

FYI...when I activated the fly-all mod using the su-30 launching optical guided weapons,the radar turned into a shkval(sorta)...BTW those black marks on the migs nose and tail above are photo calibration marks for prototypes.
