Bingo:thumbup:....the cd key option was there ,not very noticeable, but there. It wasn't in the right click on the icon itself. I should be able to do it via ED module now I hope.
I only had 3 gig left on the d drive ...don't know how much I would have needed for the huey as a module. I'm gonna try the move to the laptop but there should be some sort of fix to this situation for the future(I can see this happening to others wanting to take advantage of sales)
well that's still 9-10 gigs worth of data to remove then replace(not a good situation for something as simple as asking if I had DCS world already...no brainer there
I was maybe thinking to pull my ED DCS World off to a laptop,But couldn't I redirect the steam to that directory instead then do a repair??? except that wags says its a different dcs world??? so wouldn't that be a problem?
Bah!!!... it won't let you redirect. Only listed paths allowed.
It shows uh-1h Huey in the DCS World properties...but it doesn't show you the key.I tried right clicking the line...the icon, and all the tabs...nada and the reason I think that is ...is because it simply hasn't installed yet
Yeah?...well here's the ridiculous BS that this situation has created...It wants to add an additional 13 gigs to the hard drive for a double install of DCS world that I don't have...which means I can't install the module...nor get its key in order to install just the module itself(which I'm sure is not 13 gigs)...now what??
Then why in the hell would you confuse people by having it listed in the control menu????? ED you need to clean up what is valid and what is not in controls for the aircraft you build.
under control options I set up a command for trim reset which is recognized in the set up panel, but isn't recognized in the 3d world????? How can this be??
aussie...have you been able to get a "clean" pit for the havok?...by "clean" I mean no external cockpit frames showing through(like the apache has)I've tried all kinds of combos for the co-ords but always it stays the same. How is it the apache co-ords can clear the frame but not the havoc's??Any ideas?
I also noticed that the front gear is twitchy, but if you do a gear up command after startup,it settles down.Is there an entry to stop this...a gear type entry maybe??
I have this mod installed...but the cockpit is offset alittle from the model (its alittle too the right and high) I can see part of the apaches front window frame and wiper.anyone know what entries I can adjust to move the pit to a better location...and what they might be?
I can't figure what the sound is...it sounds like the radar lock sound but there's nothing on the rwr and its constant.Only seems to happen when jumping into AI aircraft.its loud and annoying and can't be shut off.
where can we learn how to use this new mode?...how it works, best means of employing it etc etc??I couldn't find any mention of it in the manual in the mods docs folder at all.
In the su-27,If I switch to a close up view the hud info doesn't resize to fit,I then switch back to normal view and you can't read the hud info either,as its outside the hud frame.
