  1. You're welcome :) I'll record the flight using deals and will post on YouTube this week.
  2. You're welcome. I've just watched the stream back and the quality of the stream isn't that good. I'll work on that for the next stream.
  3. In case you missed the stream here is a replay for it: http://www.twitch.tv/ells228/b/677839701 As soon as I have the Youtube link I'll post it.
  4. Teamspeak address: ts110.light-speed.com:8384
  5. Yes, using our base EFM. I'll also open up our Teamspeak channel once I've given the initial presentation so you can join me on chat during the live flight. Carrier, I haven't even landed it on a runway yet!!
  6. Hey guys, I will be doing a live stream of the P-40F on Tuesday 14th July at 19:00 UTC/GMT (20:00 BST). Here is the list of things I'll be covering: Re-cap of Duxford Flying Legends weekend. Reveals of aircraft that we're working on that were shown over the weekend to the public. DCS background, icon, description, encyclopaedia, mission briefing screen and mission loading screen. Spawn in-cockpit for a live flight. Now this is the interesting bit.... We all know that I love my jets and whilst Pman thinks I don't love props as much, I still very much enjoy flying them, so he set me a challenge. "Jump in the P-40F, start her up, taxi out, take off, fly about and land her....live, streamed" So, challenge accepted. Tomorrow night I'll be donning my Biggles hat and goggles and will attempt to do just that :pilotfly: Please join me tomorrow night at 8pm UK time on our twitch channel http://www.twitch.tv/ells228 to watch me either disastrously fail the challenge or actually pull it off. And we'll try and have some fun on the way and show you what we have. Join us on Teamspeak here: ts110.light-speed.com:8384 Thanks, Chris.
  7. I'll be doing a live stream this coming Tuesday 14th July. Details will be posted soon. Stream will show Duxford reveals on current projects, a re-cap of this past weekend and a live flight of DCS: P-40F in its current state. Thanks, Chris
  8. Not so great weather up here at Duxford today so I think we'll have a busier du during the showers. If you're coming up, we look forward to seeing you!!
  9. Yep YoYo was there when Nick was flying. Was good to see him again.
  10. Nick Grey (head of TFC) giving valuable feedback on the P-40F.
  11. VEAO Simulations in association with The Fighter Collection are pleased to announce that we're all set up in Hangar 2 at Duxford for the Flying Legends Air Show. Come and fly the DCS: P-40F whilst seeing the actual version on the flight line and display later in the day outside. “Take your Seats, sit back and prepare to be enthralled by the Flying Legends Airshow 2015! The 22nd Edition of this world famous aerial spectacular will be held at the iconic Duxford airfield on the 11th and 12th July. Enjoy world class, unrivalled, choreographed displays featuring unique aircraft types rarely seen together in the UK skies or anywhere else. Flying Legends culminates in the finale Balbo formation when all the WWII fighters take to the skies to salute you in a mass flypast. Step back in time and enjoy the New York Manhattan Dolls, enjoy a glass of Pimms, try out a full size Spitfire for size, view the large scale model aircraft exhibits and ladies, have your vintage makeup done. Flying Legends is the Airshow not to miss, it has something for everyone.” Visit the Flying Legends web page for more information. https://www.flyinglegends.com
  12. Thanks for having our P-40 display and I look forward to watching all replays when I get back to the UK :D
  13. No comment..... I'll stick some footage into the video for you :)
  14. lol no not the finger, just a gentle nudge in the other direction ;)
  15. The amount of time it takes to make an AI plane is not as quick as everyone seems to think. Granted the model doesn't take that long to make, then the textures, then the animations but ah now we get to the flight model..."Yo Ells, that 109G2 you made doesn't fly like the real thing or like any German aircraft I know" And therein lies the problem..do we even have access to a 109G2, do we have access to pilots that have flown them to realistic feedback, do we have pilot notes, tech manuals, aircraft performance data...the list goes on. Simply, it is not viable to make AI aircraft to go with our modules, sorry guys. There's plenty of aircraft coming out in the future from us and other developers that I don't think you'll be spoilt for choice shooting down. Cheers, C.
  16. I've had a mad busy time at work since getting back and on my to do list but I have a conference call tonight about another exciting future project bringing air war to the ground ;) So will get on it in next few days :)
  17. We're aiming to have it out by Flying Legends air show in July but that date is not finalised yet. But the whole team are pushing for it. Unfortunately we couldn't stream from Duxford and as soon as I get home on Tuesday I'll record and post up a video. The version the public saw this weekend is slightly older textures and some wireframe to show how we develop aircraft.
  18. Edge 540 is a tech demo only at the moment but I think we might develop a release version if the interest is there. There's also a potential project we're looking to work on involving it also ;) Sea Fury FB11 ....feel the love....
