Independence Day, commonly known as the Fourth of July, is a federal holiday in the United States commemorating the adoption of the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776, declaring independence from the Kingdom of Great Britain (now officially known as the United Kingdom). To celebrate this day, VEAO Simulations are giving away two copies of the F-86 Sabre and Hawk T.1A showing off two iconic aircraft from both countries. All you need to do to enter is send an email to the following address competition@veaosimulations.co.uk with the subject line "Independence Day Competition". Two winners will be picked at random on Sunday 13th July during the Flying Legends air show, from the emails received. Each winner will receive a copy of the F-86 Sabre and Hawk when they are released. Good luck and Happy Independence Day, Chris. Just for clarification - Creating a module is not easy
Ells228 replied to The_Fragger's topic in How To Mod for DCS World
Couldn't agree more with you there Fragger. It's no easy task. I'm actually compiling a list of all elements needed to get an aircraft into DCS based on lessons learnt from doing the Hawk, which of course helps us massively going forward for future development. When that's done, I'll share it :) Thanks for posting :) -
Great, see you there :) We have different teams working on different aircraft so it depends on which team gets stuff to us to showcase at the air shows. I've been at the Duxford air shows and other TFC events for several years now. Mutual partnership and we just love being there.

If the weather was like last year, she'll love it ;)

Ah great, if I'm busy make sure you get one of the guys to grab me to say hi Lukas

We will have DK1 with us. My DK2 hasn't arrived yet. If it comes within the next 4 weeks then of course I'll bring it, if not we will have it there for the September show at Duxford. Cheers, Chris.

Never ;)

I'll think you'll be surprised that's for sure ;)

Those screens of the afterburner really don't do it justice. I can't wait for you guys to see it in a video. Also the start-up sounds in cockpit are awesome, pressurizing the canopy etc all feels realistic with the sounds :D
-
Yep next one is Legends in July and we'll have a few things to show off then ;)
-
You're more than welcome and great to meet you. And thanks for coming all the way over to the UK just to fly the Hawk and MiG!! Cheers, Chris.
-
To be honest Typhoon is very early WIP hence not showing it off, but he seemed to enjoy flying it ;)
-
Good job no one was around when the forum fan asked to fly the Eurofighter Typhoon then, especially Joey with his camera ;) Great to see and meet everyone that came along and to those that I didn't have time to meet as was busy with other people, my sincere apologies. Thanks very much to TFC for their hospitality in hangar 2 again and we look forward to seeing you guys in July at Flying Legends. I've just got home after a very long day so will post up some screenies in the next few days once all the kit is unpacked and re-assembled. A big thanks to Javelin for all of his help this weekend and for putting me up over the weekend at his house. Cheers, Chris.

I think Robin is loading it on the machine today.
-
Great thanks Nick, I'll do some more screenies today!! And thanks to Joey for taking pics too :) Check out our Facebook for some crowd shots. Cheers, Chris.

Yep MiG lost in the turn :p UPK is on there whilst we work on the Aden gun pod. No more screenshots from us as that's up to Nick and his team to publish some and I'm not sure what we can show or not. It's been a great first day with lots of interest in both aircraft as well as DCS. Cheers, C.
