  1. I got few of them but would I need something like a converter to make the power less powerful for the leds? I have made my own little flight sim panel but that was just with theLeo board and also using cheap USB control pads and soldering switches up to them. Not done much else other then the basic stuff :) Thank you.
  2. Thank you I will look about adding a power supply like you said. I don't know a great deal about doing that but I will find some tutorials on YouTube I hope. Thanks again.
  3. Hi all. I have this board http://www.leobodnar.com/shop/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=86&products_id=205 And I have 4 switches that have lights when turned on can I hook them up to this board? If I can do I solder all of them to the +5v or do it another way? Thank you for any help you can give me.
  4. I have also seen Ch multi function panel. Would this be any good for controls like slew, tms, dms? I am really sure what you can do with the panel. Thanks.
  5. That looks great I love to try one out.
  6. Thank you. The thing that worries me the most does the CH pro throttle have enough (I think they're called)-- hat switches-- for TMS, DMS, slew, coolie as the Tm 16000m only has one. I know I can use modifiers but on my pair of joystick buttons the modifier is latching ingame and not momentary so I have to repress say TMS mod button two times to activate then another deactivate. It gets very confusing if your in combat trying to remember what modifier is on without moving the hat switch about and maybe messing up any target I had ready to kill. I really do like the TM 16000m feel and it nice price but very limited to what it can do :( Thanks.
  7. Hi all. I am looking at cheaper alternative then buying the TM warthog hotas + rudders maybe later. I already have the t 16000m and I am using it combined with another joystick for slew controls. Also using this panel with the TM MFD's so I have lots of extra buttons to use as well. So I was thinking getting rid of the other joystick and buying just a throttle with lots of hat switches for the main controls used the most. The main I am looking at is the CH pro throttle but for the extra £20 I can get the Saitek X52 Pro throttle and stick. I am not sure how good either throttle setup is but CH seems to be good build quality from what I have read online. Any advice would be greatly appreciated thank you.
  8. The Saitek X55 is £170 where I am looking the flight store and the TM hotas is £250/£255 at some places online like laptops direct I think it was. So it's very tempting to pay the extra lol
  9. I was thinking of getting the x-55 over the TM warthog to save some money but I am not sure if saving £80 is the better option now. Anyone have the this stick that have a positive thing to say ? Thanks.
  10. Hi thanks I am using a leo bodnar BBI-32 button box board. I don't think I can set macros with that as it's plug & play. Thanks.
  11. Anyone know if you can use toggle switch to eject? It seems that you have to press ejection button 2-3 times for it to work so my single toggle switch will never work? Thanks for any help.
  12. Just wrong time to run out of ink lol :( I will have to go to the library so I can get them sooner. (little update) I removed the x3 controllers as it was doing my head in and way to messy. So I used my leo bodnar BBI-32 button box board from another project and now everything connected and working. The board My little setup for now. Still got a few bits to add and maybe some switches as well. Thank for viewing.
  13. Thank you both and yes that was my next thing on my list I just need to buy more ink for my printer:D Minemonic did you make them yourself ? They look great and thanks for sharing with the community :)
  14. Finished for now but I need to fix or replace the top 3 pull switches as I am having problems with them working correctly. Thanks.
  15. Been waiting for a sale for combined arms :D It should be good to use it with the A10c.
  16. I started adding some switches and testing out some magnetic paper on the fire disch sign. That is just for testing I will try make somthing more nicer later if I can lol.
  17. Starting to solder wires to the controller boards. It takes a while for me to do this part as I am still new to soldering. It don't look pretty but works ok :) I need to get this little project finished before the house move next week :O
  18. Thanks and yes also very cheap but delivery took a few weeks. http://www.tmart.com/Brushed-Stainless-Steel-Cabinet-Bar-T-Pull-Knob-Handle_p113325.html The top wooden block it held in place by the spring with a small washer under the top block. So the top one being pushed apart with the spring until the handle is pulled. I did think at first I would have to attach the the wood part to the panel but it worked out better lol.
  19. Thank you both :D
  20. Got the pull switch handle made. It's very crude but works fine. Cheers.
  21. Thanks guys. I am adding switches now seeing what works lol. I need to some sort of pull switch for the 3 fire pull handles.
  22. Acrylic sounds like a good idea I might use that if I make a better version later. For now it's mostly a quick and easy job so I can see how good I find it. Cheers.
  23. Thank you. Because the front panel is a top on a computer case it had 2 holes each side already so I just used x4 nut&bolts to hold the wood sloped sides on. It's very basic construction but it seems to pretty strong so far. The top and bottom long bits of wood are held by screws from thecase part where you would normally slide the side of the computer case. I did have a floor base but it did not really work out as planned lol so I will probably going to suspend the box for the electronics from a bridge connecting the sides.
  24. I got another set of mfd's today and I have been working on some compact that will fit on my desk. Also going to add toggle switches and buttons to center and top part. The main center part is off the top of a pc case with wood sides and beams top & bottom. Matches up with my mouse :D No plans to add any screen behind the mfds as I need to get the TM hotas next :) Will update when I have done some switches tomorrow. Thank for looking.
  25. Ah thank you very much I will be adding that then for sure lol. Cheers.
