Bought a fighter stick that is used condition from an online store. My question is what problems should I look out for and what the best software to test everything working perfectly? Thanks for any help.

Worth buying the viggen if you have A10c? few questions:)
TonyStovepipe replied to TonyStovepipe's topic in DCS: AJS37 Viggen
I have a spare monitor I use for the a10c and thought the viggens radar would be good on there. I have not got that far into the tutorial stages but so far I really like the viggen. It's a nice change from the a10c to blow stuff up and get out quick then to fly around and take things out one by one. -

Quick question what the best way to export the radar screen to my second monitor like you would do with the a10c mfd? Thank you. -

Thanks all I bought it today :D Even pop into uni and printed some guides for tonight training seesion. -
Hi all. Looking at the viggen it seems like a nice module with lots of support from its developers. But I as already have the A10c would the viggen be too much of the same as it does mostly ground strikes also? I don't know if it can do air to air very well but it got to be better then the A10c if I wanted a change of doing ground attacks. The thing that interested me the most now is the ground radar and the ability to add mark points in missions for online play so I can do multiple strikes. But how do you handle fog of war online? If you can't see the enemy then you can't set mark points to attack? Thanks for any information :)

Can I copy my a10c controls profile saves over to my fresh steam install from the standalone version? Both are open beta branch but steam don't have any control profiles but I thought they used the same documents folder? Thank you.

How does the vega 64 do in dcs?
TonyStovepipe replied to TonyStovepipe's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
Thank you. The vega I was getting out of stock, so went with a RTX 2070. -
I have pre-ordered this vega 64 that is coming instock next week. https://www.overclockers.co.uk/sapphire-radeon-rx-vega-64-nitro-8gb-hbm2-pci-express-graphics-card-gx-38j-sp.html But I have started reading that dcs world does not do well with AMD cards? I don't know if this would effect me to much as I would be cpu limted with a i5 @4.2ghz.

I got this at a boot sale for £2 and I wonder if the usb converters work ok with it like this? https://www.amazon.co.uk/Cable-Core-Male-Joystick-Game-Adapter/dp/B0038Q5FYO/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1526879483&sr=8-2&keywords=gameport+to+usb&dpID=31qLc9WDHtL&preST=_QL70_&dpSrc=srch Mostly want to pedals to work so I can use them toe brakes. I was thinking of opening it up and wire a usa controller to the switches. Thanks for any advice :)

Looking to make a button box for the Huey and some of the switches has three positions. Like selecting the mini guns left, right and all. Seen this switch. https://uk.rs-online.com/web/p/toggle-switches/7109876/ But I wonder if this can do the same job cheaper? https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1-PC-NEW-Red-9-Pin-ON-OFF-ON-3-Position-Mini-Toggle-Switch-AC-6A/32754021244.html?spm=2114.search0104.3.197.67d19e43YXAApK&ws_ab_test=searchweb0_0,searchweb201602_5_10152_10151_10065_10344_10130_10068_10324_10342_10547_10325_10343_10340_10548_10341_10192_10190_10084_10083_10615_10307_10301_10303_10059_10314_10184_10534_100031_10604_10103_10142,searchweb201603_25,ppcSwitch_7&algo_expid=b0250071-8a45-4d4a-9c82-e3e7e81f6067-31&algo_pvid=b0250071-8a45-4d4a-9c82-e3e7e81f6067&priceBeautifyAB=5 Thanks for any help :)

I got this setup working for the a10c but if I switch to the huey the UI all messed up. The red box that show your controls is much bigger and the crew screen on my other monitor really big as well. I don't understand why its changing anything to do with another module? Thanks for any help.
-
Thanks it did not work at first time but after I redid the virtual cockpit server it worked some how. Thank for helping :D
-
Thank you. I just tested it and the mfd in cockpit still on :(
-
Thanks I already had that off. Not sure why it's changing knee board files as it never did that before. Tested 2.7.0 and 2.7.1 and both crash online mode when you spawn in.
