I do like the idea of control of ground forces while in my A-10c. And I do fear if I got the f-15/fc3 it would slower for me to learning the A-10c as I will flying to the other planes as well lol.

Hello. I made another thread about what addon to buy CA or F-15 and the f-15 seems to be the winner so far. So before I make my mind up what to you guys who have already CA, think it's worth it to buy now or get something else ? Thank you for your input. Cheers.

So I think everyone so far says f-15/fc3 :) I know what your saying about them being completely different, my decision was mostly based on what is more playable,useable and supported product. I love the the idea of CA but if you can't do much at this time then no point buying it just yet? And I am still learning the A-10c basic stuff but would use FC3 when I need a break some times :) I am leaning more to Fc3 at this point :) Thanks

Hello all. I already have the A-10c and I am after something else I can jump on when I need a change. I was 99% sure on getting combined arms to use it with the A-10c on missions so I can control the ground troops and also shoot stuff myself. But I am still unsure as read bad comments about it needs updating a lot to get some stuff working. So my other option that I like the look of is the F-15c as it looks like fun to fly :) So CA vs F-15 what do you think is best addon to get right now? Thanks for any advice. Cheers.

I was thinking as I fly the a-10 if I made a simple mission like take over a city/town from the enemy. Could I play the commander in the a-10 and also tell my troops where I need them to go. Would this be easy or does take some messing about to swap roles? That would be fun a bit like C&C red alert first person mode :D

I am looking at buying CA just to mess about on. But is it worth buying in it's current state? Thanks.

Thank I will check that out now :D I done a quick test using the mission defend camp Yankee. My normal setting as above. Outside cockpit 60 fps Inside cockpit 30 fps Max memory used 802 ---------------------------- Now new settings. Shadows low. Heat off. Cockpit shadows off. Outside cockpit 60 fps Inside cockpit 30 fps Max memory used 735 ----------------------------------- Saved a little memory but maybe not enough to use my second screen yet with mfds. And will test the heat setting on it's own as well in minute. Thanks.

Thanks. My video setting is already set to use application settings so I don't have any anti aliasing on at the moment. I check my vram with msi afterburner but I will give gpu-z a test as msi does not display in the game screen and only on desktop with dcs world. I will report back with all shadows and heat setting off thanks.

My basic system specs. Tv/main screen 1920x1080 Monitor/second screeen 1920x1080 CPU = AMD 955 OC @3.6 ghz GUP = 5870 1GB asus v2 RAM = DDR3 1600 4GB My in-game settings. As it is now on a single TV 1920x1080 display only My vram is well below the limits of the 1GB But if I export the mfd screens to the second monitor even with cockpit mfds tweaked to be off it will go over the limit on a normal mission with other aircraft and tanks. So what setting should I lower to gain the most memory back but with the least effect on how the game looks? Do trees/bushes have a major effect on vram? Thank you again

Hello. I have 5870 1GB vram and I wonder if anyone could tell what graphics setting eat vram the most? I know so far that the texture and msaa use a lot but what about the other settings if anyone knows? Thank you for any help. Cheers.

Ah ok well that is my newbie advice for today lol Some one who knows a lot more will help you out soon I bet :) I am going to try helios again myself later I will probably run into some sort of problem lol.

I am not 100% sure but double check full screen mode off on DCS as helios needs to run in windows I think. I am just resetting my monitor and stuff after a long break so a lot to learn again lol

Could anyone help me please. I have 2 monitors 19x20-1080 each and I would like the left and right mfd's on the second monitor. Does this tool do that for me ? as it does not seem detect my other monitor and I can move the mfds and other bits on the main screen. Thanks for any help. I had one before but had to sell due to money needed at the time and I loved the metal feel :) I hope a sale comes up soon if I am lucky lol

At this time saving for the TM hotas but is about £100 more then the x-55. I am not sure if I should just go for the x-55. I play the a10c.

Hello all. I am back to my t.16000m for now until I can save up again for the tm hotas warthog, had to sell last one for money emergency :( So for now I am happy with the t.16000 But just seeing anyone made a good control profile getting the most use out of it ? Thanks for any help. Cheers.
