I don't DLSS would integrated in DCS... Its a DX12 Feature... and i dont know api vulkan supports it. ED says they are developing a Vulkan adaption of DCS..... so i think DLSS don't come to DCS.... For VR DLSS could be a gamechanger.. Greets

yep this problem is absolutly horribble..... Playing with a Buddy on my 2 Plane MP server.... We are droping few cluster bombs at our targets.... We both playing DCS in VR and after the explosions from the clusters the bottom are overseed with craters .... And this causes so masaive FPS drops so vr begins to stuttering and blacks sometimes out...... Simple solution. Posibility to switch the bomb craters off..... Greets

Hi Pilots, So i'm a dcs user from the first time.... now i have a nice sim rig 8core@5,1 ghz/ 64GB RAM/ 3090 OC and a supreme Pimax 8KX. What should i say DCS looks amazing and its a realy big step to feel what it means to sit in a fighter jet cockpit.... So the only thing what is realy bad is simply and easy the Performance in VR..... VR in Flight sims is the "big thing". So at a few time ago i have heard DCS maybe gets Vulkan Support. my personal it should get DLSS Suport as well for VR so then the Performance Hogs with a 3xxx Graphics card is almost gone..... So when maybe is it real DCS gets this supports .... ?!?!?!? My personal meaning it should be a top prio for the devs because the DCS engine would becomes to old. so the any news? no nebolous anouncements hard facts are needed..... greets and sorry for my bad english . Had severl bugs with the radio menu F10.... When i have finished a mission is not posible to take a new one .... (sample) when i chose give me a next misson so nothing happens.... I can order a new patrol zone yes when i fly there so the checkin radio entry is missing. Have any semilar Issues.??!?! Have looked in the Mission Editor but canot find any bug..... But i have no experience with the mission Editior.... Can any buddy have maybee a look at this...... ?!?!? BTW its a very anoying mission and i enjoying it.... i hoping also of Great Dynamic Campaign for DCS. Ther are a few realy great Campingn DLC out ther but. When i played thouse and multiplayer is not i as i play.... So then i miss a real big dynamic war campaign for dcs.....

Hi , ED was talking in a Newsletter a time ago above change the Engine to support Vulkan-Api. Because the Limitation of the Engine ( Multicore etc). and the upcomming Simmers who are playing flightsims with VR it would be the nex logical step to change the engine to support Vulkan and benefits from Performance gains of the3 low level api.... Ed talking in the newsletter of 2021 but since this mail in the beginning of this year nothing new is heard about this..... same on the dynamic Campaing native in dcs....... are this importand features on ice.. or any news about it .. Havin a RTX3090 and a 8kx VR ripps the GPU.......on Native 8k Resolution... DLSS for VR in DCS would be a big game Changer ...... and DCS is a really good game.... with a superb VR performance it is another step in the right direction.....

So the i figured out when the black sceen appears and i going in the Pitool the Tracking Station are grayed out and Pi tool says i schould place the headset in range of the base stations.... It seams the 8kx lost the head tracking ......

Hi Folks, First the System Specs: CPU: I9-11900k Watercooled Ram 32gb GSkill@4000 GPU: Palit Gamerock 3090 with Kingpin 500W Bios Watercooled VR Gear: Pimax 8kX Hotas: Warthog + Pendular Pedals DCS: Version 2.7 + a bunch of modules :-) So when i playing DCS in VR example Ka50 with a short Shootingrange Map.. no complex thing only a few Tanks etc.... So then i flying Around all is fine , can shootting on thanks all is fine. And then when i looking around in the Flight the Pic in the Headset whent to be Blacking out.... First around 0.2 Seconds it going softly in White picture and the softly in Black picture... the it stays Black.... DCS runns on the Main Monitor and it seems as nothing happend ?!?!?!. De Headset is ok,, have this issue only in DCS.... Son maybe anyone cann help this out... Its ot funny playing and 10 min later black screen .... playing campaings or longer missions not possible.... So then greets....

Aktual Status of the Developerment Hi Pilots, I'have backed the Fa/18 Module since the beginning.... How far are the Devs away from the final Version von The Modul ?!... When cann we espect the Final release.. Are the Module usable for the first missions. I Fly the hornet a few Times on the Nevada Map, its a realy great module so far... At the Moment iam want to wait for the release of the Module..... But should i can use the first mission or should i wait ?!?!?. Greets Grasnabe

So heute die ersten runden gedreht...... Kurzum binn begeistert.... Komme auf A-10 Lager aber werde definitiv zu FA18 wechseln..... Finde die Kontrollen viel intutiver wie die A10 bzw. Bzw Multirole Fahigkeit. einfach genial......bzw das Teil ist richtig agil... Die A10 is dagegen wie ein Panzer...... Is nur die Frage wie lange braucht ED bis sie die Hornet mal soweit haben das man damit Missionen fliegen kann mit ner eingigermassen runden bewaffnung... Muss ja nich alles vorhanden sein wie Angekündigt. Aim7 Aim9 Amram. Dazu maveriks ein par ungelenkte sowie Laser Gbu's...... sowie nen Targeting Pod... Und die ersten Missionen können kommen..... Hey Folks, Bought DCS IControl for my new Ipad last week. Works very fine but only in Singleplayer. in Multiplayer The Radiopannel Frequencies showing nothing and the Switches does move in the Sim position. Her in Forum i found the solution so the serverexport skript value schould be at true so then Icontrol works. Situation. DCS IControl don't work have try this on a Server wher skript export is enable Radio Panel doessent show the Frequencies. Have any people a Solution for this Issue. 29€ is not the cheapest App. Greets Grasnabe

Hallo, So habe nun mein neues System. Ist nun ein Intel I5 3570k auf 4,2 übertaktet. Gigabyte GA-Z77X-UD3H mit 8gb Corsair CL9 DDR3 Speicher 128GB Samsung 840Pro series SSD Festplatte. Das ganze lag um die 500€. Aber jeder euro hat sich gelohnt :-) geworden. Nunja was soll man sagen DCS+TR4 auf max (Wasser auf mittel) leuft einwandfrei. "Fast" keiner Ruckler mehr. Tieflug gaaaanzz minimale ruckler. aber wirklich nur gaaaaanzz minimal.... zum alten system ists wirklich ein ganz neues Fluggefühl. Greets :pilotfly:

also meine wahl steht bis auf die CPU fest. CPU: - i7-3770K 3,5 GHz (Ivy Bridge) 284,- oder Intel® Core™ i5-3570K 3,4 GHz (Ivy Bridge) 199,- Mainboard: GIGABYTE GA-Z77X-UD3H 142,90 RAM: Corsair DIMM 8 GB DDR3-1600 61,90,- Config mit I7 Prozzessor 490€ mit I5 Prozessor 406€ Binn echt unschlüssig was bringt beim gamen mehr für die 90,- ?!? Prinzipiel sollte die Kiste schon auch sehr gut übertaktbar sein. (Da die Frames in DCS "fast" nur von der CPU MHZ abhängen.)Meine grafikkarte geht sehr gut die dümpelt bei max 50% last bei DCS. ---ormalerweise würde ich sagen, das gibt bestimmt einen netten Sprung, aber so wie deine aktuelle CPU getaktet ist bin ich mir da nicht mehr so sicher. DCS verwendet eh nur zwei Kerne, insofern müsste es ja praktisch allein die neue Architektur rausreißen. Ich wäre jetzt sehr zögerlich, dafür so viel Kohle auszugeben.-- Genau darum dehts sichs.lohnt es sich lohn es sich nich. Beispiel: Es ist halt so auf 4000 Fuss Aufwärts sind die frams ok. Wenn nichts los ist auch im tiefflug über Häusern. Kommt man nun aber ins Zielgebiet mehrer A-10 beschiessen Ziehle.Evtl. ne Sam die Beschiesst.Flares raus..... ausweichen ect. Da wirds dann schon happig mit den Frames. nur noch so ca 20. Dann merk man schon das es Ruckelt. Zum I7-3770K. sieht schon verlockend aus.hmm..

Mainboard: Asus P5KE RAM : 8GB DDR2 800Mhz Grafikkarte: Nvidea GTX 660TI Festplatten: Intel 80GB SSD 2x Western Digital 750GB so nun möchte ich folgende Komponenten ersetzen CPU/Mainboard/RAM Dazu habe ich mir mal folgende Komponenten rausgesucht. CPU:Intel Core I7-3820 4x 3,6GHZ 3,9GHZ Turbo Sockel 2011 Mainboard: Gigabyte GA-X79-UD3.X79 (X79 Chipsatz) RAM: 8GB Corsair CL9 XMS PC3-12800Kit DDR3 Da ja DCS sehr Cpu lastig ist, was meint ihr lohnt sich das Upgrade sind ca 500€) oder lieber bleiben lassen.Momentan brechen die FPS im Tieflug über grösseren Stadten schon merklich ein. bzw. wenn eine entsprechend umfangreiche Mission aufm Server leuft. bzw bei anderen Spielen wie Crysis3 oder BF3 merkt man schon das die CPU langsam aber sicher limitiert.
