    Not a fighter pilot book, but Skunk Works is one of my favorite.

    I had the same findings. I put a few manpads around to see how much damage the bf-109 could take. It took two direct hits to take one down. In another test I put a BF-109 vs. F-16. The Bf-109 soaked up all the 20mm rounds from the F-16 and shot down the F-16 with a burst. :pilotfly:

    Landed (normally looking) like that and then I shot it up. I put up 8 AI F-15s vs 8 AI Bf-109s, you would be surprised who won :cry:

    :) Seems like the Bf-109 can take a lot more damage than the P-51. Maybe it is true in real life, or its all in my head.

    :punk:That is awesome. What are they being replaced with? I really enjoy manning the Gepard in CA although my accuracy is nowhere as close as the real thing :)
