k i must be missing something here. I read the instructions but when i tried it the switch did not throw at all in game can someone show me how to code this object so its a simple on/off function with a switch {combos = {{key = "JOY_BTN12"}, }, down = iCommandBatteryPower, name = "Battery power", category = "Electrical power control panel"}, I understand this above line is default.

This is great. Is it as easy as wiring it up then programming it in helios? or is there more to it then that? I see your using lolz profile does it come set up for the phidget?

I would sure like to see some documentation on building the caution panel and wiring it up :( can't seem to find out much about how people are building these. Just that they are.

Mine have custom made L brackets bolted to the inside spines with sheet metal (panels) bolted on to it. If I may suggest weld them up, with some brackets on each corner where you could bolt them to them to the front and back side of the console.

I totally understand your dilemma. I was in the same boat only 2 months ago I had no idea about any of this and thought I would never be able to figure it out. I am still nervous about some insturments like the radio stack setup and the cmsp. but I am sure I will figure it out. I to have absolutely no expierence in this field. but I wired up my first set of flood lights this past weekend. here is where I am at. its not perfect but its something. have a look https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=oa.382825148494238&type=1

smoky could you explain a little more about the touch panels I went to the site and they have various types of "touch" what are the differences and what do you recommend for a DCS pit.

Just a quick Update I used up the last of my sheet metal on hand and finished up the front and ran some test in helios. I am definatley gonna need that samsung 32 inch with some narrow borders to get the fuel gauges set properly. I think i want to go with a ipad mini for the cdu. I plan to get a new throttle next month. probably the x52 with some rudder pedals. then probably cougar mfd's. the my boards and switches. getting nervous about the switches i have no electyrical expierence...so yeah. follow my build and other stuff here https://www.facebook.com/groups/a10cockpit/

Too a point yes. The are great Plans but the are hard to follow. Next step will be to cover everything in sheet metal and cut gauge panels for the front. from there I will paint. Then cougar mdf's and other monitors running helios gauges. I think I want to reverse engineer LOLZ profile. From there I plan to do the switches. on gpwiz boards. Want to go with 2 ipads for radio panels and cdu.
