Any one else noticing the clouds disappearing when looking around?

I have the exact same issue, is also noticeable when exiting DCS back to steam still wearing the headset. Also only on DCS. What is your computer specs. I feel like the images are slightly misaligned.

Its my experience with the huey and the blackshark. If its an empty scenario I can play, but as soon as shit start happening its just an unplayable ugly mess. :cry:

Hey guys unfortunately I've been booted from playing DCS until I upgrade my GPU, I have a decent rig (i5 6500 @ 4.4ghz, 24gb ram, m.2 960 evo ssd) but my GTX 970 simply can't handle the game anymore. I tried everything and even on the lowest of the lowest the game is to heavy specially because I play choppers. And honestly its just not worth it to play the game ugly like that, it looks worse than before with all the jaggies and near view. I get decent performance with jets but I mainly fly choppers so its a bit disappointing, was looking forward to the 2.5 and now I have to wait for the new nvidia card to come out. These days I feel like all I do is wait a little longer to play DCS, specially with the state of the multiplayer which is 10x heavier. So I just wanted to know if there's any one out there with a low end gpu that miraculously found a way to play the game. I have a samsung Odyssey btw.

yes you need steam, it uses steamvr. Stand alone works fine but it needs to launch steamvr

Hello guys, So I followed this thread https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=206574 and merged my bs1 and bs2 upgrade to one serial, but now I can't play the shark anymore. If I try to launch a mission for example it only lets me watch it and not control the chopper. I tried deactivating on the module menu in game and activate it again and it wouldn't let me saying my serial is black listed or something like that. Every time I launch DCS it also asks for my new serial. Help plz. EDIT: So I read that if you delete bs2 upgrade and install it again makes it work, I'm trying doing that right now and will report back if it worked. Edit 2: It worked!! Sorry guys you can delete this topic now the problem is solved!

Hey there I'm glad you manage to make it work! Another thing to consider, in case of future problems, my antivirus (panda) was acting up and making my pc choppy and laggy, especially after installing latest windows updates, so I deleted pretty much everything that was running on the background and its rock solid! :joystick: Oh and if you wan't to compare performances with people using rift and oculus here is a good comparative: Remember the Odyssey already has 78% more pixels than the Vive and Rift, so here's what that looks like. No worries man these are my ingame options in case you wanna compare: I usually fly choppers but when I'm far from the ground the fps easily hits 90

Something is very wrong on your pc I have a i-5 6500 oc @4.4ghz 24gb ram and a GTX 970 ssc and can play with medium specs on VR no problem. The only thing I upgraded recently was my RAM (used to have 8gb and was stutter fest) and now with the m.2 ssd 960 evo is night and day from before. My min fps is 45. If I had to guess is your Hard drive. EDIT: I'm playing on 1.5.8 so not sure about the Normandy, Is your performance on 1.5 poor too?

Hey guys anticipating the 2.5 merge and considering that I now own a VR headset I bought an m.2 960 nvme SSD. Now I'm in the process of moving my more demanding games like DCS to the new SSD but my windows is still installed in my HDD. So this begs the question, do I really have to move or reinstall the Windows to fully benefit from the new drive on DCS? (really don't want to do that, since I have tons of games installed and other stuff and I really don't mind having windows on hdd anyway) :joystick:

Hey guys I just bought my Odyssey today and its the first time I'm using VR! Very excited but I'm also a little overwhelmed with the amount of apps and programs to get this thing going. One thing that's been bothering me though, how to turn off screen mirroring to the monitor, it feels like its a waste of gpu power, I also feel like that when executing the wmr software for steam VR (trough steam) it overlaps with the steam VR also draining resources. Another thing that I'm having a hard time with is that sometimes when using the mouse to click on something on the cockpit, it feel like it clicks outside of the game window and thus makes my keyboard not work, if I click back again it works again, very weird, like the game is running in window mode. Struggling to get this right, mostly cuz I'm new I guess.

Bumping cuz I'm facing the same nuisance since integrity checks started. Why can't we have this option on the menu :doh:

This integrity check thing ruined MP for me cause I'm a black shark pilot and use use_click_and_pan_mode = true on the clickable_common.lua and the "Unchain Rudder from Trim in the Ka-50" http://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/218201/ Both of which fail at the check :(:(:(:(

Hi guys, after using the auto updater, I hopped in the game and to my surprise I Couldnt rearm my chopper in black shark 2. In a multiplayer game other player said to me that he have experienced the same problem and that by deleting Keyboard.lua he solved, but I didnt had success doing it, any thoughts? I press rearm and choose my loadout and the crew says "rearming complete" but that doesnt happen. Additionaly, I hear a button click in the cockpit but cant figure out which one. :cry::cry::cry: plz help
