What is this missle the MiG-35 fires?
-
HubMan I have a question - did you already add the CVN-70 to France and remove the "singleton" designation for all carriers in this mod or will you wait for v2.0 when you introduce the Rafale?
-
No RWR and launch warning tones? Is there a possible work around?
-
LOL I guess CrazyAggie finally brought an end to this "male member" measuring match :D Now back to our regularly scheduled programming.

It's gonna take all day to merge this mod with the Armйe De l'Air mod - but boy it will be time well spent! :)
-
Well I like the idea of replacing the Su-30 with the MiG-35. This will be a great multiplayer platform for a HL "Armée De l'Air" coop server. Humans verse Expert AI!
-
Wow! :) Which MiG will the MiG-35 replace?
-
How above moving this crap!
-
Wow - marry this mod with the mega object mod coming up and I will have those Su-27s, Tu-22Ms and Tu-160s in my Rafale for beakfast!
-
What aircraft is replacing the Su-33? The Rafale M for the Aйronavale?
-
Wow! Does this add-on come with a hot french chic too? Heck you guys are giving this to us fully loaded anyway :)
-
I am waiting for the Rafel to replace the MiG-29A si I can make it carrier ready.
-
they did?

With out proper training - it takes a lot more than a couple of tries on the ground even before a stationary carrier then on to a moving carrier in calm water then onto a pitching deck. That said - only naval pilots can land an aircraft on a carrier and this is with navigational, instrumental and other "must have" requirements of a carrier certified aircraft. Not to mention the fact that naval crews train for months to dial in aircraft weight correctly into the arrestor cable system (which if not done correctly will rip off the hook or snap the cables). Nor the fact that naval aircraft have much better low speed handling characteristics for carrier landing approaches than conventional land based aircraft. Or the fact that even if by some miracle the pilot did get say an F-15/F-16 on a carrier deck - the landing gear will definitely collapse on contact.

Pool question: aircrafts in the DCS plans !

I like the idea of a MiG-29K but frankly - I am not spending one "red" cent (nor red, white and blue cent for that matter) on anything relating to this sim that doesn't adress the fact that we need a flyable western carrier based aircraft in this sim. How can you have a US carrier and no flyable aircraft to go with the US carrier? I don't know who is heading up EDs marketing strategy but common sense would say adding flyable F/A-18C, F-16 and a European jet (I like the SEPECAT Jaguar) would generate a lot more revenve than BS. You have to think globally (outside the box/wall) to make real money in computer games. -
Wow - this is exciting!
-
I love it! Now we don't have to worry about people taking off on the tarmac any more!
-
Nice Birdy - great work too!
-
Yeah - this is my you make sure you all have the same files installed. Games that are heavy into multiplayer (like IL-2), such mods would be a disaster! LOMAC isn't that heavily used online so there isn't that much of an issue.

Will the arrestor hook work with human and AI or just AI?
-
I am a little late on this but highly excited! When have the MiG-29A, MiG-29G, MiG-29S and MiG-29K which ones are being used with which aircraft? Is an AI Refael in the works to replace the MiG-29K?

I wonder what the ratio of people whom have left the Razdolnoye base in it's orginal position verses those who have moved it to Merzifon?

Is There a Dual Core Advantage?

...That is not entirely true. When you are looking mere speed of the processor - 2.2 GHz vs. 2.4 GHz doesn't seem like much. However, when you talk about data transfer - it could mean a lot and this is why. Processor speed (GHz) = FSB (in MHz) * clock multiplier So, 2.2 GHz => 200 MHz * 11 Thus, 2.4 GHz => either increasing the clock multiplier to 12, or reducing it to 10 or 9 even and increasing the FSB rate to 240 MHz or 267 MHz. So, a 200 MHz increase in processor speed maybe due to a 20 - 34% FSB increase which will show you an fps increase. Note: this is why the E6850, E7650 etc cost fractions less than the original X6800 and the E6700 and out perform them. They lowered the clock multiplier (and locked it) and then increased the front side bus speed. So if you are an overclocker - the E00's are still far superior to the E50's with their higher clock multiplier -
To be honest - they will do what they want to do. If they cared about our opinion, we would have had a flyable F/A-18C, even a couple of European aircraft too (like the Jaguar and the Rafael) not to mention a larger map and more objects by now. With that said - this new announcement just solidifies what we have all known all along: LOFC - Old and busted, DCS:BS - New hotness

What a complete waste of resources!
