All I did was simply expressing my thoughts about a very well known bug that it has been around for quite a while and it affects MANY people. You made me sound like I was complaining and (worst) blaming ED for me not being able to purchase a lightning fast super PC. Please don't put words in my mouth. Me mentioning not having a very fast PC was just to point out that this bug affects systems that are well within the official system requirements as advertised by ED. So it's not our fault. All I said was that we shouldn't have to go and buy new PCs for something that is clearly a software bug. I think that these kind of bugs should be in higher priority than, say, graphic eye candies.
My realistic expectations are that software bugs should be fixed by the company that produces the software product (and kudos to ED who has already acknowledged this problem and announced that they are working on it). If this is considered unrealistic, then I apologize.
P.S. Suggestion/question to ED. Since from what I understand this problem was introduced with the new graphics (like smoke etc) and/or code for some explosions, until you find a way to remedy the problem, would it be possible to give an option for the user to choose whether he/she wants to use the newer graphics or the old ones that will give them better frame rates?
