he didnt comment on that in any way, all he did was quote the ORIGINAL post because you hadnt read it properly, hence your question in your previous post. All the best, Flip -
nobody pisses anyone off Tucky. The Fact is that the F-16 is better suited for NATO integration than the Gripen (not talking about typhoon and rafale here but those are out of question due to costs). Flip

Concerning the F-4 : "Double Ugly" would be pronounced as "Doubly Ugly" (british) F-4 aka "Rhino" aka "Luftverteidigungsdiesel" (Airdefensediesel) because of its J79 smoke plume. F-104 aka "Witwenmacher" (Widowmaker) aka "Zipper" Panavia 200 Tornado aka "Klappdrachen" (negative meaning , usually used by phantom pilots calling the tornado a swingdragon , swing as swing wings) Piaggio P-149 "Pitchy" these are some terms from the german airforce :D Flip -

yup, our beloved friend corsair did and spewed alot of hate while trying to convince us all :D Flip -
actually, the difficulty the apache had were more in the gulf war because it was designed for the european theater. There were many problems including the navigation systems of the apache that couldnt use landmarks in the desert and also the sand was giving its toll on the engines and airframe. The European theater is not a problem for the apache, its been flying more than 2 centuries in germany and we have alot of trees and wet weather, why they crashed in the balkans is a mystery to me sounds more like that propaganda stuff. Saw this site the other day of some guy from that area where it stated that a b-2 got shot down and several german tornados LMAO!! Flip
