  1. The Viper seat is actually one of the most comfortable seats out there. I think the recline actually helps alot with that. Typically don't even complain about it until I hit hour 8+ in the seat, but by then I'd complain about anything I was stuck to for that long. And yes, it's covered in that "fluffy" covering.
  2. For what it's worth, TWS is not something viper pilots realistically mess with anyway. Stick with RWS. Doesn't help your issue I know.
  3. The absolute biggest issue regarding G here in my opinion: F-16 pilots in the real world demonstrate 30 seconds of tolerence at 9g's in a centrifuge before they go to the B-course. In DCS, the pilot lasts a fraction of that. This negates the strengths of the F-16. It was built around high rate high-G 2 circle principles.
  4. For US, we use Start 2 all the time. Never met a viper pilot who used start 1, and it's taught to use start 2 from B-course on.
  5. You're not wrong
  6. How do I know: The same reason I could tell you any viper dude who runs the radar in the right MFD is a weirdo and to this day we still don't know what the f*@# is ejected from the left side of the canopy every time the gun is fired. Beyond that, why would I ruin this fun and give it away? :music_whistling: Elaborate: Not going to happen.
  7. Honestly why bother? It's not a mode any viper pilot really uses with the -68. Stick to RWS or ACM close in/on the outs.
  8. I'm actually downloading FC3 as I type this. If you want to help me out that would be great, we could set up a time perhaps...also I'm clueless on how to actually set up a multiplayer session and what comm software to use ect...beginner in that respect. I could email you a powerpoint outlining the basics of how to set up these exercises in the air...also might be an interesting powerpoint to hold on to for future reference if you ever decide to get really deep into ACM. PM me an address and I'll shoot it over and we can talk times.
  9. Hey guys thought I'd repost this as I'm still on FC 2 as well and I could use your help maybe? I am a current military flight student entering the Air Combat syllabus of my training, and I want to partner up with someone online, who does not need any extensive experience...I'm just tired of the AI in Lock-On 2 which is not sharp enough. Looking for partner to just fly gun's only in similar configuration (Prefer 1 v 1 F-15). Figure this could be fun as well for who ever, and like I said, no extensive experience required as long as you can stick to cockpit only view and manage a gun's only exercise to include head on, low aspect/high aspect offensive/defensive, Flats and rollers. If you don't know what any of that is, it's easy I could teach basics as well...just need a human to fly against. Also I don't know how to set up a peer 1 V 1 online, so if anyone has insight into that as well, I'd appreciate it...this could be awesome training and if it works out I might start putting together a program here for other students who may benefit from this sort of online training.
