Correct me if im wrong but didn’t ED receive the F15 in December? I get bugs can pop up but why does there ALWAYS have to be a pre order period? If its ready, release it, if not then don’t. Its a digital product thats never going to run out of available stock so pre order periods are completely unnecessary.

Hi All, I use edited CMDS ALE47 programs for the F16 which is now causing me to fail integrity checks. Is this a known issue? Never had this trouble before

Thanks Skywalker. I have always struggled with knowing when a missile has been defeated so i can turn hot again. i guess I need to practice some more!

Hi All, I have a couple of questions regarding the RWR and missile evasion. When the RWR begins to scream at you about a missile that is tracking I start to notch it, pump out chaff and manoeuvre a bit, then the RWR goes silent…. 1) Does the RWR falling silent mean that missile is now defeated and is no longer tracking? 2) The RWR starts again with a missile tracking warning, Do i take this warning as a new missile that is tracking that will need to be defeated, or can the first missile start tracking me again? hope that makes sense Thanks

Hi guys, im interested in trying the Liberation campaign and was wondering if it modifies any DCS files to the point that it could affect joining other servers when ive finished using Liberation? How easy is it to uninstall? Thanks

Sorry to hijack the thread slightly, is it possible to enter MGRS co-ordinates at the moment? If so how do you do it? I've switched to waypoint 21 and changed the DED to MGRS but I cant input co-ords? Thanks

Appologies I have managed to sort this. I had to wait for Raven11 flight to taxi to their CATS before pressing SPACEBAR to do the radio checks. Maybe worth adding this into the designer notes in the docs. Great mission by the way!

Title says it all.....Dutch starts taxiing and get stuck next to 402 and 411 who never start taxiing to the CAT. Ive tried restarting the mission about 10 times and the same happens everytime. I get airborne and all 3 AI are stuck and never move.

Did you designate the target with the TPOD using TDC depress?

Hi guys, I format my PC and have reinstalled DCS, however I cant seem to disable trackir in external views. i have unchecked the tick box in the misc menu and it still will not disable it. Before the reinstall it worked perfectly, I had trackir in cockpit and mouse control in external views. I have done some searches and all the replies were mentioning turning off the check box in misc page which Is not fixing my problem. Any ideas on how to fix this would be greatly appreciated. Hi guys. I created a short mission to practice laser guided gbu’s in the F18 and have uploaded it to the user files page if anyone wants to give it a go. Link here - https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3303231/ Its a night time mission that can be flown single or multiplayer (If playing single player ensure you pick the first F18 available on the select role page). It includes a gbu drop, straffing gun run and If you wish, AAR refuelling. You will need to know how to create new waypoints while in the hornet cockpit. Created another new mission to play around, still the same issue the GBU falls well short of the target. I have attached a track file aswell as the mission file. The trk file includes some time warping (this is not the issue with the gbu as I have tried the mission without warping) Also I had to contact JTAC twice as i told them i couldnt comply at first oopss. Again this is not the issue as i have tried this mission about 10 times all with the same result. GBU error.trk DAZ Spec Ops GBU.miz

Yes I stepped through each GBU and input the code, I have ALOT of hours in the A10C so the code was the first thing I checked. Ah well i'll keep playing around with them

Ive dropped from multiple altitudes from 5000ft to 15000ft. 9/10 it still doesnt acquire a laser. WP elvation 33ft TGT Elevation 33ft. Surely WP elev and tgt elev shouldn't matter on a lased target anyway?

Yes I asked for laser on along with "spot" and "In" and have also tried with just using laser on and not saying "spot" or "in". I just tried the same mission and I put an AGM-65E on board to see if the JTAC was actually lasing the correct target and he is. I locked using the Maverick to ensure JTAC was infact lasing, he was so I switched to GBU and this time the GBU hit. However upon restarting the mission I asked for laser on but this time I didnt touch my maverick, I selected GBU with correct code etc etc and it didnt even attempt to pick up a laser.

Same issue for me, I have set up a small test scenario using a JTAC, I have a waypoint in the middle of 3 Artillery. I follow Wags video to the letter and the GBU just free falls, never attempts to pick up a laser. Code is set on each weapon correctly. On the odd occasion it does start to acquire a laser signal it is either way too late to adjust its trajectory onto the target or it aims for a random part of the terrain. My mission has no issue with LOS for the laser, JTAC tells me to use GBU's and that it will be marked by laser.

Hi, Have been taking off and landing fine up until today, didn't notice an update to DCS so not sure what could have changed. These are the two issues: Start up on carrier and cannot taxi (this happens in a friends multiplayer server so this may be a mission problem) The aircraft does not move regardless of power input. 2nd issue is with the instant action carrier landing mission (tested on caucasus and persian gulf), everytime I touch down, DCS (semi) freezes, what I mean by semi freezes is:- I can look around the cockpit with trackir, move camera views, raise/lower hook etc however the the aircraft is frozen right at the point of touchdown. Has anyone else had this issue? Daz

Loving the hornet, however I am having a little trouble after re-arming. I re-arm with multiple ordinance which shows on the stores page on the pylons, however, the ordinance does not show up along the top of the DDI therefore I cannot select the weapons to drop them. This is not an issue if the mission starts with ordinance, its only when I re-arm. I know I am missing something, just wondering if anyone knows what it is? Thanks Daz
