  1. Ah.... I see now, lol. Sorry for being so thick. I shall download it, but leave it unactivated. Thanks all :)
  2. Hi. I was trying to avoid buying the game until I'd perused the manual first. I'd heard of loads of keyboard combos which are allegedly a bit tricky to translate to the HOTAS so just wanted to check for myself. I've already got the A-10C and the Mustang, just haven't delved into the FC3 side of things yet. I appreciate your response, thank you :)
  3. No luck in finding it. Not to worry. I wonder why they keep it so hidden away when all the other modules are so well documented and easy to access? Ah well. Such are the mysteries of life....
  4. Thank you. I shall have a peep. I have the original LOMAC anyhow. Is it just the same? If so, I'll just pull the .pdf off the disk.
  5. I don't have one of those either, lol.
  6. Is there a manual for FC3 that I can download anywhere? I've searched the DCS site but cannot seem to find one, although I can find one for all the other modules. I just want to be able to skim through it before I commit to buying FC3. Thanks...
  7. I wonder if they could manage to squeeze a Harrier on to their "to do list" just for me. I'd be as happy as a pig in poop :holiday: As regards scenery.... Do you think they will ever reach the stage whereby they are letting 3rd-party outfits commission individual airports, towns and cities? I think it's unrealistic to expect hundreds of square miles of wilderness to be replicated to a high standard. But small areas of importance would be well worthwhile. Check out some of the ORBX sceneries for FSX. Simply outstanding!! I would be very happy indeed to pay for scenery modules of an exacting standard, as well as new planes.
  8. That's fantastic news. Thank you. I can get tinkering then now :pilotfly:. And I promise to leave that T.A.R.G.E.T software well alone :)
  9. Just checking before I ruin my setup. If I remap the TM Warthog HOTAS joystick so that I can use either the Mustang or the Froggy am I likely to screw up the automatically configured profile for the A-10C? Looking on these forums it seems that some people have had problems creating joystick profiles and have ended up with duplicates. I really don't want to lose the A-10C setup. There's probably a lifetime's worth of setting up in there, lol.
  10. Do you use different response curves for different situations then, i.e, taking off/landing, combat, cruising etc?
  11. Thanks Ratfink, you're a star. I think that thread just about covers it :)
  12. Oh bugger. With my internet connection it's just as well that I've got two weeks off work then ;) Thanks for the advice, much appreciated. And is DCS likely to be picky about my authentication codes or do I need to erase off my gaming laptop?
  13. Obviously my first priority is to load up DCS World, and all of it's inhabitants. Hell, that's the sole reason for the pc change :). Right, question time...... What is the best way to get my new DCS up and running? Am I going to run into security issues with my activation codes on 2 pc's, or do I need to delete off the old one. Also, is there an easy way to transfer my DCS files to the new machine as it's a hell of a downloading session otherwise? Thanks in advance
  14. Thanks all :) Well my mind is at rest now. I thought that it was out of character to just be eye candy. Looks like I've got plenty of homework to be getting on with :smilewink:
  15. There are a few checkboxes to tick in TARGET. That's no problem to do. It's just wondering what the point or purpose is?
  16. Just a quickie. I've just bought the TM Hotas, and have had a bit of a play with it. Firstly, OMG!!! The build quality is mind blowing. I am seriously impressed :megalol:. Right, the reason for my post...... That row of 5 leds. I've found out how to turn them off and on in the TARGET software, but is there any point to them, or are they just a bit of eye candy? At first I thought they were to indicate some mode or other, but now I'm just baffled.
