I've tested it with Su-27, less painful when I moved my "head" with canopy open, also positioning is not that bad. I did few minutes of testing with F11. I don't like to listen to music from youtube, unless it's uploaded by someone competent "cough" potato codecs "cough". I will probably use it only for DCS as other games I play tend to have better sound design. Overall it sounds like someone wanted to emulate home cinema speakers with all it's downsides.

I'll give it a try. On my DGX it's mostly disabled because it's changing music too much. In bad way imho, it feels synthetic.

I've finally managed to do Cobra and stuff without inverted spin. Trim is required more than in any other aircraft. Nose down tendency is sick. Also I forgot about gear down during landing. Instant high AoA is useful during landing because airbrake is not that good when diving. I will have lots of fun this weekend. Augmentation system needs some tuning, it handles like YF-23 on ground.

I've already managed to crash. Weird stall after low speed Cobra attempt. Inverted flat spin. Edit. Question to professionals. How to recover from Inverted Spin ? I have no idea. Engine dies during it.

No longer I'm in situation similar to this "Oh you are slewing around in TGP ? Well, let's lag a bit". Much smoother gameplay. CPU next in line. From i3 to i5 I guess. Can be closed/removed. There's definitely room for improovement in DCS files structure. It took a while to install. Archives would be faster than thousands of files.

I went ahead with Samsung 840 EVO 120GB. It was damn good decision to upgrade. Right now I've got Widndows 10 Tech Preview on it. Over Provisioning is enabled, just to feel more safe. It gives me 100GB partition instead of 111GB. I've got 68 GB free so maybe in few days I will test DCS. System is way more responsive now, it was expected however with latency provided by SSD in comparsion to HDD.

Sure, but it doesn't mean that M$ will drop support. You can still play DX 10 9 and older, can you ? EDGE is DX11 so theoretically it should run on Vista 64 and up. If your hardware permits ofc.

I've seen some strange issues in MP. For example sudden texture reloads. I think it will be worth trying. For now it's EVO 840 or something close. 1 TB is out of scope for me. Now its 128-256 :)
